Problem finding correct files during Setup TMP Launcher

Currently having a problem with TMP setup. During install when it ask ( Please Select Your ATS or ETS directory) The step by step videos show a file location i do not have. I registered both games threw Steam. I have watched a few youtube  videos on how to install and cant seem to find a cure. If anyone knows a way to fix this problem that would be great. I tried to upload a photo to possibly help me but the file is to large.

Hi, 

 

Did you install the game via an alternate directory? The installer simply uses the default file directory which Steam installs game to. In most cases this is where users will have it. However, if during the game installation you chose to install it to a different directory, you will need to click 'Browse' and navigate to said directory in the installer.

I had a same problem as you. 

 

Please , you again start install as administrator 

 

The default location folder for American Truck Simulator is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\American Truck Simulator" choose your path accordingly where you have installed steam ---- 

And to ETS 2 

 

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2" choose your path accordingly where you have installed steam.

Hello, Follow this path and try selecting again.

1. Open Steam, go to LIBRARY -> GAMES
2. Right click on Euro Truck Simulator 2 and open Properties
3. After the Properties window has opened click LOCAL FILES tab and press BROWSE LOCAL FILSES
4. A folder with game files opens. Remember the path to this folder.
5. Copy the folder address from above and paste it installation screen.

I was able to fix the problem. Thank you all for your help! My PC had put the games files in a random location and it just took some digging. 

I respect the response time everyone! Thanks again!
