Finding old saves?

EnfaxFuzzy

Question

Here's the situation short and sweet.

I lost my save files because my computer got wiped by Dell while it was in for repairs. I don't know why, but whatever repairs they did apparently warranted it. Anywho, I lost my save files and I had cloud save enabled on steam before... Where are my save files now?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, otherwise I guess I'm starting over from scratch yet again!

Hi,

The local save game files will be lost now as the drive was formatted without any backup.

In order to use the cloud backups all you need to do is launch ETS 2 on the new windows installation and open it up and your profile should already be there.

Watch this video and make sure the settings are checked on ETS 2

Hello,

Open Steam -> Euro Truck Simulator 2 -> Properties -> Updates -> Check the box - allow Steam Cloud for ETS2

It will ask you if you want to download files from steam or upload to steam.

Best Regards
