Unable to check for updates?

When I try to load truckersmp after a wait of around a minute I am getting popup stating that it cannot connect to updates?? I have never had any issues before, and the software is specifically allowed access to the internet in my firewall. This error causes truckersmp to fail to open.

 

I have been having this problem now for several hours, and at first I assumed your servers were down, but they appear to be up and running. I 'had' a valuable load I was hauling and needed to get back to finish - it will now be late and I will loose a lot of money on it :(

1. Download Ultrasurf: https://mega.nz/#!BQog3IzS!c6j4EZydSI2fYpxS5OvrYSsQBocTGqRxnECSHG0iFE4
2. Run Ultrasurf.
3. Open TruckersMP in Administrator Mode.
4. Install the available updates (only the first run with Ultrasurf), wait for it to finish and Launch button appears.
5. Exit Ultrasurf.

Thank you very much for your rapid response, it has solved my issues. However I don't like it when apps open new browser sources without notifying me first - maybe an update to the app telling people what is about to happen would be a good idea.
