dragonslayingmaster1000 Posted March 19, 2019 Share Posted March 19, 2019 Suggestion Name: Make the blue player dots appear on the map from way further away Suggestion Description: Currently they appear around 400-500m from when they appear on tab but sometimes it's only 50-100 in congested areas since it takes forever to load them. It would really helpful to have them appear up to around 1500-2000m away to solve this issue. That means that the render distance of player dots has been increased. On the other hand, the new value is not four or five times higher. The reason behind not increasing the distance to something like 2,000 meters is that players around you are not appearing in your scoreboard either if they are too far away. This all is connected with features and limitations in MMO. Your client is not getting information about all players at one moment but only about players from a certain area. Therefore, making something like you suggested would take us a lot of time for only a little feature which is not even that important. The player dots should not make you to "blindly drive". They should be a piece of information for you. That some players are around you as it can be seen in other multiplayer games.
