Firetruck or Ambulance from the Real Ops in Singleplayer

Recommended Posts

Hey Truckers,

In the great Real Ops V6 event on Sunday I saw, that the Staff was driving vehicles like an ambulance or a firetruck. For me, it was very interesting, so I spotted the Real_Ops_V6.mp archive in the ProgramData. My goal was to drive the firetruck or the ambulance in the singleplayer. I converted the .mp-archive in a .scs-archive to put it in my mod folder. I also looked and read in the def-files that I know where I have to search the vehicles. I saw, that the firetruck must be a DAF XF 105-Addon (with the inventory of the DAF), but ingame I did not see an extra cabin or an extra chassis for the DAF XF. I want to know, how I can drive the extra vehicles from the Real Operations event in the singleplayer. I am looking forward to your answers.

Best regards,

Moritz

You'll need to create a vehicle configuration yourself from them, and copy the mod from the MP files to your mod folder. Once you look in the files you can work out the data_paths to the needed parts and you can make a configuration with them.

They're not gonna say because people will do it online & they won't like that

Please do not assume when in fact you are incorrect. There is no issue with me telling you this as we have an autokick implemented on the vehicles. And also, there are reasons why they are not available to players and why they only got used in very specific scenarios, none of the reasons are that we "won't like that"

Exactly, that's why you @ScaniaFan89, can't drive Policecars in MP because they have that mentioned autokick.

Have a good day

I mean you wont tell him how to get them in SP, we all know why we can't have nice things in MP.....because trolls win every time! Like how you say ST is not happening & then drive two trains through Rotterdam meaning its clearly possible & the whole they can't be added because the trailers have AI attached to them is rubbish ( if its so hard or not possible, how come you can do it )

But, @ScaniaFan89, Forerunner just said in the comment above how to do it... :)

I just did tell him how to.

And regarding ST, the cargo we used during Real Ops 6 was a completely custom trailer and cargo, not part of the DLC in any way/shape/form - The trailer was in fact an owned trailer, and the vans were not being AI operated, in fact it was 2 GMs ( @Mike Dragon and @CreatorInDeep ). Something you also have not considered was a key difference between the cargoes we used and cargoes in Special Transport; the width. The cargoes you saw me and @Wheezy hauling were of standard width, meaning we could drive them without (or very rarely) needing players to alter their road positioning for us, whereas the DLC trailers would all require other players to at a minimum move to the side. So, I'm sorry to say, but your comparison of the Real Operations cargoes to the DLC is completely incorrect.

Just to add to what Forerunner said above, I do need to remind you that the van is in reality, a Scout. It's been updated from their first version that was used on Christmas (which if you can remember, you could see part of the Scout's body through the windshield) but it's still a Scout. No different from a beach buggy and a VW Beetle, for example. You may swap the body but underneath, they are both the exact same car. Bring ST to MP is a far more complex issue than you can possibly imagine and it's not really all that feasible. We wish it was a simple matter of just "wanting" or not to do it. The scenario Creator, me, Forerunner and Wheezy put up with those trains and the vans was merely a simulation of a special transport haul. Like Fore has already stated, CreatorInDeep and I were driving those vans. It was not the AI. Him and I were talking to coordinate how we would position our vans to simulate what the Special Transport DLC adds to singleplayer, but without an actual cargo from that DLC. The stuff we hauled and escorted was much smaller, in comparison.

Some people should really get a license before even thinking about buying Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator. Drive safely, folks!

@Forerunner& @Mike Dragon was great getting some insight behind the scenes overall i mean if we look on how long (TMP) have been around since (2014) until now and whats new in it? Away from default game update not much to the mod is new as we can see from the time period (2014 - 2019) that tells me and that explains a lot to me that tells me that its not a easy job for the Developer Team   @mwl4 @Kat_pw etc..... for what they do its not that they don't hear us on the things that we want its not that they don't want to deliver all the cool stuff to the community for me i believe if they could give us what we want in the mod that makes sense to the community they would deliver and that doesn't means there isn't anything new that's gonna be developed in the mod for the future i think we should appreciate everything what (TMP) has done so far and accomplish so far rather than complaining.

I've seen a singleplayerversion of that train trailer before, how did you guys got it in multiplayer? And is that ever gonna be avalible to other players because i would love to drive with a trailer like that.

I do not understand 1% programming like you do.
But I liked the theme.
Really the MP Truckers is good but missing many things, so obvious!

See:
- Missing recent random crash events that SCS Software has released. Missing the fire trucks.

IT'S A LOT OF BIZARRO, PASSING THROUGH AN ACCIDENT TO SEE FIREFIGHTERS, AND NOT TO HAVE A TRUCK.

It is also bizarre, pass by police officer or damaged car and have only the characters police and driver! NO CARS?

I'm sorry, and no offense. But the minimum that Team Team should do and just make viable these materialized random events, just like in the single player.

It's when the police cars. I agree that it should be moderator exclusivity. But in my view, it is an organization that always has police on the highways. They could be rather recruited players, but with specific missions of fines, report collisions and hunt trolls, patrol.
There are great games that could incorporate much of its tools of police action.

Missing on the Map and in the  Winch Truck, when there is an accident or at least a steel cable winch coupled to the front or rear, could rescue a lot of player if these two things existed.

The ambulance is good, but as long as the drivers - characters, do not exist in 3D with interaction to the game world gets a little out of the way.
Once again, the game AUTOBAHN POLIZEI SIMULATOR 2 has great things like impact simulation and injury. It would then make sense to send an ambulance to the scene.

Which makes me more upset at the moment and not having the new random events in 100% materialized. It is bizarre not to have a fire truck and the police with car, there are characters in the middle of nowhere with the accident.
