Problem installing Truckersmp

So I am trying to download truckersmp and when it asks me to find the est2 file to save it I choose my file and it’s saving its not valid any help my fellow truckers

Hello, I think you're choosing the win_x64 or My Documents Euro Truck Simulator 2  folder.

 

Select the location where the "Euro Truck Simulator 2" game is installed.

For example:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2)

 

If you don't know installed game location, follow this step.

• Open Steam, go to LIBRARY -> GAMES
• Right click on Euro Truck Simulator 2 and open Properties
• After the Properties window has opened click LOCAL FILES tab and press BROWSE LOCAL FILSES
• A folder with game files opens. Remember the path to this folder.
• Paste the folder address and click next.

You don't need to give it the file, just the folder, something like "C:\Program files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2" (you may need to change the path if your installation folder for Steam is not the default one).
