game crashing

hey all, so ATM i have been away from the truckers Mp for almost 3 months and was happy to play this. but i came back from holidays and. ATM i cant seem to play the game (ATS) and i have read most of the error questions, launcher issues and followed everything that i could. but ATM the thing that i haven't seen yet unless i'm blind or something but, need to know if i'm getting a fatal error, also no crash report as well as cant get into the game even on single player status as well as followed by (run as admin) and ATM nothing is working. so i deleted and restarted ATS without any DLCs and still cant get any where with this. i'm hoping that some one can either help me or at least point me in the right direction on what this could be plz as there is 2 friends also having the same issue. did or does any other pp have this issue by any chance

So I see that you are having an issue with ATS not opening, (even on multiplayer as well), i would suggest that you install these programs and see if you get any tangible results.

Install these two programs

 

.NET Framework 4.7.2

VisualC++ 2015

Try to run a sfc /scannow command in DOS then restart your computer and try again. https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-use-sfc-scannow-to-repair-windows-system-files-2626161

 

Also, download CCleaner and run a registry cleanup and try again. https://www.piriform.com/docs/ccleaner/using-ccleaner/registry-cleaning

 

Also, verify the ATS game files.

Lastly depending on your GPU vendor, you should download and install the latest graphics driver from these links:

Can you try these:

Solution 1:

Have you tried to verify your game?

> Go to Steam Library
> Right click American Truck Simulator 
> Properties
> Local Files
> Verify Integrity of Game Files

Wait until the game files are verified and try whether the error still occurs.

 

Solution 2:

1. Right click ATS in steam

2. Select 'Launch with OpenGL'

3. Let the game run and try going into game.

4. Exit the game and go back to steam, right click ATS again but this time select 'Launch with DirectX (64-Bit)

5. Again go into game and then exit.

6. Start TruckersMP up and see if the game stops crashing

 

Solution 3:

Step 1. 
Right click your 'Euro Truck Simulator 2 Multiplayer' / 'American Truck Simulators Multiplayer' .exe file, whether it be the shortcut on the desktop or actual file and then click properties.

Step 2.
If you right clicked it's shortcut, make sure you clicked the shortcut tab.
If you clicked the .exe file, make sure you are on the general tab.
You should see a section say: (   Target: "C:\Program Files\TruckersMP\launcher_ets2mp.exe"   ) OR it's custom install path. (Minus the brackets)
What you need to do is on the end of it, add: (   -homedir C:\Users\Michael\Documents\ETS2MP   ) 
It should look something like: (   Target: "C:\Program Files\TruckersMP\launcher_ets2mp.exe" -homedir C:\Users\Michael\Documents\ETS2MP )

i have already done all of theses but ill try to get a video together and put it up here to show u guys as atm i can launch the game, but just b4 i get to the profile screen, the game just crashes without an error log or crash report and b4 any1 does ask, yes i have uninstalled the game, restarted the computer and then reinstalled ATS game only without DLCs and then once game is fully downloaded and installed and verified the game, restart the computer and then so a full system scan, check game path and then launch the game but crashes just b4 profile selection and i know that its not a profile issue as i dont play with mods at all as i dont play single player

this is an update, ATS and MP have now been fixed. due to a recent trucksMP update which i didnt know bout, and which cause a mishap and cause all this drama. but i had to delete everything, game, MP and profile to have this fixed. i want to thank every1 for there time and effort for helping me on this
