Do you think there is another race in this universe?

The universe we're in is too big and there's a lot of unexplored places. We've been exploring space for about 100 years. It is too new. Do you think these races are known from high-level government officials? If so, what do they did about it? And why don't they explain it to people? I don't think we're alone in this whole universe. I think there are many races. Do you think there is another race in this universe?

I want to learn what do you think about it.

When I read the name of this topic I thought of racing in terms of a competition... but well, if there is any other race we still need to discover it. We are discovering a lot, but still not enough to see all of it. I guess nobody would hide the other race from the rest of the world because it would be a discovery comparable to the first man standing on the moon - it may change a lot. I can imagine that in some very far part of our universe there is another far developed society playing TruckersET :troll:
Concluding, I wouldn't call it a race because I think if there would be another developed society, they would have multiple ethnic groups just like we do.

I believe there’s something else out there. What is it exactly? Possibly a more advanced civilization; I don’t really know. Does the government know something? Possibly, but we will never hear from them about it.

Plus, 65% of our ocean is still unexplored.. just imagine what could be down there. ;)

Honestly, I wish there is a more intelligent an compassionate species than us out there.

Let us face it: there is no other species on this planet that treats themselves and others as cruel as humankind does.
Ironically, we hurt, kill and destroy our basis of life with the goal to survive.

I sometimes refer to humankind as the desease of this planet.

@Joao Rodrigues That sounds a lot like agent Smith in "The Matrix". But it's also true. Any other species expand when there are lot of resources and shorten when there's a shortage of them, humankind doesn't, always expanding, no matter the availability of resources. Agent Smith compared humankind with a virus... And it's quite precise. Our behaviour is more like that of a virus than that of an "advanced" and "intelligent" species. I believe that there must be a lot of life out there, there are too many places to be seen, even with the most powerful devices, so there's no way to say "there's nothing other than dust and void". I only hope that there's not some kind of "Guardians of the Galaxy", because if they see what's going on here on earth, they'd probably wipe us out ASAP, before we can space-travel to ravage other planets.
