dragonslayingmaster1000
I noticed on the TMP traffic website over the past few days Paris had 100+ players. Calais and Duisburg usually have less than 80-90 now. Personally I'm glad this happened because Paris is a bigger city and can actually handle that many players better than Calais and certainly better than Duisburg. The CD road however still has the same amount of congestion. Paris has always had a decent amount of players all the time like 20-30 people but not nearly this much. What happened to make Paris this popular recently?

dragonslayingmaster1000
@BlackEagleTMP But if the event is all over the ETS2 and ATS map why do people crowd up in Paris if the event can be done anywhere?
Guest
Because you can do short runs from Lille to Paris and from Paris to Lille. its like 200 km at most. Thats why its so popular.

Hello. This congestion is because of the Christmas event and yes, you are right. people can complete this event in any other cities, but in some city like Paris you could find a cargo with a short distance, so you can finish this event quickly. This is the reason why Paris is crowded these days. Have fun, Enjoy Trucking. Flindix
Sure, paris is congested because of the new WoT event but there are so many cities that allow short jobs. I still don't know why all people chose paris. :/

I'd just go play single player at that point.

TheCreepyTruckr
@Rick Hunter Oh man, I seriously think SCS broke something in ATS with that. The only places I could find the Christmas jobs in were Albuquerque and Roswell.
FernandoCR [ESP]
@TheCreepyTruckr I found lots in Vegas, and short ones. That's probably the reason why Paris was so crowded, many event jobs with short distance, easier to complete.
Dziada
@Rick Hunter I know for a fact there's lots of jobs in California, I've done over 50 of them.

Guest
As some people mentioned; I do not think Paris will be the new Calais. It is due to the world event. Though it would be cool to see other cities get a chance of attracting more people.
Eclipse..
I believe that people are there because of the Christmas event, also because there are high paying jobs that seem to be there.
