The reversing bug when braking is due to 1.33 physics update therefore it has to be reported to SCS. It kept going back because you were in reverse, and possibly you experienced a sticky key, where you were pressing a button (accelerator) and then typed something in chat, hence when you stopped the truck was still accelerating.
