ZolaKluke
In the many years (4 years) I've been playing TruckersMP, I have had my own hardware upgrades over the time and was curious to see what hardware the current members of the community are running as I don't see too many people anymore that seem to lag and stutter in areas with high player counts. The hardware my current PC runs are: OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i7 4790 RAM: 16GB Duel-Channel DDR3 Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC Mate(MS-7850) GPU: GeForce GTX 970 (MSI) 4GB Storage: 240GB Crucuial SSD 2TB Toshiba HDD 1TB HDD RAID Drive (2x 500GB laptop drives) Also if you aren't 100% sure of your PC specs I recommend you download and use Speccy: https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy

BlackScout
Just upgraded. Time to share my experience. So, previously, I had: i3-4170 3.7ghz 2 Cores / 4 Threads. It's a Haswell Refresh CPU. Pretty nice for the arch. LGA1150 8GB of DDR3 OCed to 1600mhz with 10-10-10-24 latency A trusty GTX 1050 Ti. My experience was usually fine, empty areas around 60-75FPS inside the cabin. Crowded areas could drop my FPS pretty significantly, haven't tried them out yet. Events... Oof. Back when I had an even weaker CPU in the old ETS2MP days, I could see my FPS drop to the single digit. Next TruckersMP event when. jk who needs an event, go to Rotterdam/Calais >:`) Regardless, with the upgrade, I have seen improvements across the board. FPS in the cabin around 75-85. Frametimes are way smoother too, which is awesome. (GamersNexus explains it, 2019 is the year of the frametime.). Following the format, my specs are now: OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i3-8100 (beats old generation i5s and i7s (mostly 2nd Gen i7s), has 4 Cores and 4 Threads) [plz spread the word so ppl won't jerk around saying that the i3 is a Dual Core processor, because it isn't anymore x), also, thanks AMD] RAM: 1x8GB DDR4 2400mhz 17-17-17-39 Motherboard: Gigabyte H310M-M2 GPU: Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB SSD: 120GB Kingston UV400 (OS, 81% Remaining Life, 2y old, ~18TB written) HDD: WD Blue Caviar - Famous WD10EZEX 1TB + [2005, 13y old] 80GB Seagate SATA1 ST380815AS (currently not in use because I am lazy, swapped case as well) with intact SMART data.
