Connection error

When I open up ETS2MP I play for about 10 minutes then I suddenly lose connection, but I don't receive any message in that matter. All the nearby players freeze in place and they are shown in the tab menu even if I'm 20000 m away from them. When I reopen ETS2MP it Works ok for about 10 minutes, then it happens again. I've tried with cable and wi-fi and the problem persists. Here's a screenshot Please help.

Try to reset your internet connection. Also don't forget to clear your DNS.

Please turn off your Router & pc and remove power cable & wait 30 sec and try agian.

Is your issue resolved? Firstly, there are some good suggested solutions above, but I would like to fill in.

 

If it's not fixed, I would suggest as well as doing what's above you uninstall TruckersMP (C:\Program Files\TruckersMP Launcher), delete the folder, and verify the integrity of game files (Steam: Library > Rightclick ETS2 > Properties > Local Files > "Verify integrity of game files..."). Then install TruckersMP again, and log in then see if this worked.

 

If your issue is still going on, let us know in case someone has a different solution that might work.

You may be having a connection problem

1. Try turning your router off for 1 minute and then turning it back on and see if you still have connection problems
2. Try clearing your DNS cache, follow this link for the guidehttps://documentation.cpanel.net/display/CKB/How+To+Clear+Your+DNS+Cache
3. Try changing your DNS to Google's one and see if that has any effecthttps://www.techworm.net/2016/08/change-default-dns-google-dns-fast-internet-speeds.html
4. Try re-setting your win-sock cache.

step 1: click on windows search program and type "cmd" enter (run cmd as an admin, right click run as admin).
step 2: once you're in, type "netsh winsock reset catalog" enter.
step 3: type "netsh int ip reset.log hit" enter.
step 4: restart your computer.

Reset your network adapter, firewall and DHCP.

You type:

netsh int ip reset reset.txt
netsh winsock reset
netsh advfirewall reset 

into a command prompt window

 

also Make sure that the Windows firewall does not block your connection. Open the Windows firewall and say Restore defaults.

Hello everyone!

 

Thank you all for huge support to help resolve my problem, but apparently I have some bad news. Due to this bug/problem, I was banned for ramming/reckless driving as you can see in this video: 

That happened yesterday, a few minutes before I noticed this bug/error. As I said, the other players were frozen in place in the area where this bug/error began, and as I was driving along, it didn't render any more players, so the road was completely empty for me and I had no idea this could happend. So to everyone involved I would like to say that I'm really sorry for damages that I have done.

 

Regarding my problem, I Will be able to report back on October 24th, when I get unbanned.

@ViennaKing The only thing that I could suggest if not already sorted is to contact admin team. They will be able to assist you. In query to your ban I would submit an appeal. They may take things into consideration and remove the ban.
