Dear @Evan4eg,

 

When you have that error, first make sure you do not have the launcher process open.
•Task Manager> TruckersMP or ETS2> Right click> End tasks.

Once you have done this, do the following:
•Run the launcher/Steam as administrator.

hello

 

try this

1. Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard

 2. Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)

 3. Find the folder "TruckersMP" 

 4.then you will find the "core_ets2mp.dll" and delete the file "core_ets2mp.dll"

 5.then open the launcher and download the updates.
