Popular Post [JET BLUE] - Diego Posted October 4, 2018 Popular Post Posted October 4, 2018 I propose the implementation of a simple icon next to the distances to which each player is found in the tabulator. When there are many players in my area, it is difficult to see who is approaching and who is moving away, as you should see for a few seconds if the distance increases or decreases and a green icon could indicate if the player is approaching. and with a red if the player moves away or vice versa, as appropriate without distracting me as a driver since it is easier to see colors than numbers. This is useful when we want to pass another driver and see the tabulator to know if there are drivers coming from the front. This is an example Mark as useful if you support this proposal. 1 20 1
FernandoCR [ESP] Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 Driver's attention should be on the road and the surroundings, not on the player's list or anything like that. If you are not sure if it's safe to overtake, don't try and wait until you are. -1 from me, it would only make the mod to use more resources and players with low-end machines might suffer from something like this. 2 4
ASIR Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 That can be really useful! I want it! 1 Former Game Moderator Leader
[ IN ] RoadKing999 Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 I agree with @FernandoCR [ESP]. Just concentrate on the road and you will not get distracted. It will use more Resource and low-end PCs will die. -1 from me aswell. 1
AussomeGaming Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 +1, very good thing to have when you're in high populated areas. Kind Regards, StreamingAussie - Veteran Driver III Driver for Courtz Carriers (April 24 2019) TruckersMP l Steam l Twitch l World of Trucks
Interstate Nomad Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 As if the majority of the players would care about oncoming traffic or other players at all... I agree with @FernandoCR [ESP] - avoid distractions and concentrate on the road instead of watching little arrows changing their colour.
Welshboy346 Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 Greetings TruckersMP Community Members, I think this is a good suggestion as whole for further development with the game allowing for you to have more accurate distances but also indication of how close they are coming by others means by colour. However I think it would also be a bit of work for the development team to carry out in order to implement this type of feature to the servers furthermore having the graphs could cause further strain to user systems and also in regards to the colours, these are used a lot of the time therefore the whole thing would need redone in order to go by this. When you have friends in the game usually their blip is green and normal are white but these are different depending on user settings. To reiterate my point in this topic, this is a good suggestion however there's a lot of work involved in adding this feature and therefore wouldn't be seen for the far future even if it were accepted. In conclusion, I am not in support of this particular topic since it is not really need right now. This could be considered in future updates though. Thanks, Rhys
Juαn.Cruz Σ #00 Posted April 22, 2019 Posted April 22, 2019 +1 To this. It's a nice idea. We know that anyone needs a special help for overtaking. If we just concentrate on the road, the accidents can be increased. The game is not perfect and has a very limited draw distance. It's possible that "well, I don't see anyone, let's overtake this guy", and then the game draws a player at certain distance that is dangerous for both and ¡Boom! Crash. Those situations can be avoided by using this simple system. Also for those who want "realism" and think that it's better without it: an On/off feature. And I think that all of us will be happy
Azuly Posted April 22, 2019 Posted April 22, 2019 I don’t quite understand how those arrows work. Could you explain to me what they mean? It could work but I don’t quite understand how it works.
Flaming. Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Smart idea, however, I do feel like this would be distracting, you shouldn't have to rely on technology to see if trucks are coming or if you can overtake. You have mirrors and you have 8 different camera angles to see if it is clear to overtake. -1
*ACC* 007 FanTian Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 I agree, because then we will know that the vehicles in front will have to turn and the vehicles behind will be able to slow down, which will reduce the impact.
Osetaen Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 A very useful feature, definitely should be added to the game.

FernandoCR [ESP] Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 @ilian kamenov And you added a copy/paste of my reply... Why, exactly? You don't need to copy/paste other users' replies to post yours. And it's always better to use "quote" instead of copy/paste. Don't you see that by doing that, your reply makes no sense? First sentence, you seem to be against the suggestion, second sentence, you seem to be in favor...

Guest Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 hey dude. It's great that you think about it. I support this
poland.ball Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 I have thought about something like this always, its useful for especially overtaking to prevent crashes.
enex SLOVENIA Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 I doubt this is technically possible. You need position of truckers in real time that changes in seconds and when there is a lot of them it would quickly become distraction. I'm not in favor of this implementation.
danielagostinho Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 I think this is a good idea, and I think it's totally possible, truckersmp already gets the coordinates of any nearby players to calculate the distance between them, calculating the direction isn't that hard. By looking how the position changes and knowing your speed you can easily know at least if is in front of you or behind you, and truckersmp already has control on your speed. The list itself is very distractive now, a couple arrows more won't change that much. If you think it's too distractive you can always close the list anyway
Fezz Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 I think it's fair to say that while this sounds like a really good idea, I think if it was actually used it would become very messy quite quickly, sure they have the distance from the trucks and such, but if you're in a high populated area, it's going to get very messy to look at tab, while you can close it I think that it's not going to work. I think the distraction would be too great.
-Fallcon Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 For me this suggestion and useless, since I do not use tab when I am driving, I prefer something cleaner on my screen, besides that it would weigh when you opened the Tab, just like this happening, when I open the Tab I have FPS drop. [JET BLUE] - Diego Posted October 28, 2019 Author Posted October 28, 2019 I think it is useful ... It is true that we can concentrate on the road to advance but there are cases where players play with the graphics too low and the visibility range is low to the point that you only see the trucks when you already have them at 50 meters and you go at 110km / h.
- ViruX - Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 I also agree with @FernandoCR [ESP]. Just focuse on driving and dont do something in the tab. This idea would only make the game more laggy than it even is. -1
