ETS2 HAS STOPPED WORKING

Hello, I have a problem with TracersMP. It is based on the fact that I am playing normally, I am going to the points of discharge and when I click on the result, the result diminishes me and writes Ets2 has stopped working. I will add it to restart it, I need to uninstall ets2 and install it and it's time consuming: / [40 minutes] Anyone know what to walk

Hello,

Please go to your Steam directory in the ETS2 folder and delete the folder there: "bin".

Then try going into Steam and verify the integrity of your game cache.

You can do this by right-clicking on either American Truck Simulator or Euro Truck Simulator 2 in Steam, click Properties, go to the local content tab and then click "Verify integrity of game files..."

Please check if your firewall or antivirus program blocks ETS2 / ATS.

- Press the windows-key + R, type '%programdata%' and hit Enter

- Search for the folder 'TruckersMP' and delete it

- Navigate to the installation path of TMP and run 'unins000.exe'

- Perform a Windows Disk Cleanup on C and the drive where TMP has been installed

- Re-download the launcher from TruckersMP.com

- Install TMP again, IMPORTANT: Make sure to install it into the Steam-folder where ETS 2 is installed as well. So, in the end, the path should be something like 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TruckersMP'.

- Make sure to start TMP as an admin, press F1 to install all the most recent updates and check if the problem still persists.

1. Start a command line as an administrator (cmd)

2. Run the command:

sfc /scannow

3. Wait, and then restart your computer

4. Run a single game in x64 DirectX mode (Launch witch DirectX for ATS)

5. Drive a short distance

6. Exit Game

7. Start multiplayer

A possible fix for you would be to follow these instructions:

Go to Steam Library

Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2

Properties

Local Files

Verify integrity of game files.

Wait for the process to complete then re-attempt to launch ETS2

Ensure you launch ETS2 in Direct X mode via SP, drive for few minutes and then launch MP.

2. Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)

3. Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.

4. Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"

Have you checked the logs for the crash which will be in your ets2mp folder and/or your ets2 folder both of which can be located in your documents. Alternatively did the crash show an error code at all?

Solution 1

You should start TruckersMP as admin. This is really important.

Also try to start TruckersMP with DirectX (64)

Guide:

> Go to your steam App
> Go to library
> Go to ETS 2 / ATS
> Click "Play"
> Choose "Launch with DirectX (64-bit). Make sure you chose 64 bit.
> Start ETS 2
> Choose your profile and press "drive"
> Close ETS 2
> Start TruckersMP as admin. TruckersMP will start with DirectX for all time. Except you change it again.

Also try to reinstall TruckersMP.

Go to '%programdata%' and delete the folder 'TruckersMP'. After that uninstall TruckersMP and download the MOD again: https://truckersmp.com/download -> Launch the installer as admin

> Take care not to play in busy areas.

> Pull down your graphics settings.

Have you checked the logs for the crash which will be in your ets2mp folder and/or your ets2 folder both of which can be located in your documents. Alternatively did the crash show an error code at all?
