Mohammad Afzooni
Hello Yes, moving from the green route has less traffic in that direction If you go from the red track, you may have some minutes in traffic. Regards Mohammad. Like if you liked it.
RussaX
DJ Jefferz has a good idea but problem is that some players are not anticipating nor they are sensible which is the cause of traffic. Whenever you come to either Calais or Duisburg players are rushing intersections without anticipation and then they block other vehicles from moving causing complete mess. [LazyT] xProgodzx
i would say if you wanna deliver cargo just aviod the C-D road at all if you wanna meet up with other players go to C-D road
96AV
Hello Dear @WOWJ2005 First of all , I have to say ; players do not follow the rules. Nobody gives way to the other. Everyone has a word and action to learn : RESPECT & LOVE. Secondly , let's come to the point ; your nice idea! I totally agree with you. Because the road you show as the red line is TOO CROWDED. But if we follow the gree line like you showed , traffic is completely relieve. Game Moderators can't keep up with everything so we must be an example to other players. Thank you very much for this nice information. Best&Kind Regards DarkOwl Kind Regards, 96AV TruckersMP Game Moderator “The best way to predict your future is to create it.”
Lucy*
Virtually, there's only one way to Duis, and all routes meet there eventually. So... I think it would not be so useful. (No offence)
deokletain
Hello team and users, I believe it would be best, if we had a synced economy system witch gernerates contracts away from populated eras. Means: The most profitable contracts must lead somewhere, where less people are. The lesser profitable contracts lead where a bunch of people are and the least profitable where lots of people are. That would not only help to reduce traffic in and around Calais, it would also balance distribution of players around the map. At 4200 Players on EU2 you would actually meet someone in Aberdeen or Lublin. Another positive effect about a synced economy: No one would ever have to bother with these annoying problems about a blank freight market again! best regards, deokletian

If players would care for profit I would rather pick highway route Lillie-Liege-Koln-Duss-Duisburg or Lillie-Brussel-Rotterdam if going north. It is longer route but it takes you less time and you won't get any damage.

Guest Bruce T.
Creating or closing a route will not solve the problem, as most players will go to Calais because of the heavy traffic. Whoever wants to go to the Port of Calais is only going straight, whoever wants to go inside the city, turns left. Everyone has their choice
ScaniaFan89
So what happens when trolls block the red line, like duisburg / dusseldorff it only takes 2 or 3 road blocks to shut the place down!
Hawkmusen
Do not fit the normal traffic rules do not fit in this game is very novice in the game and will troll them if you do not extract it, how?
UnfaithfuI
I believe that only increased enforcement can improve the current situation on the road.

Bogdwm
There are not many alternatives because both roads are crowded. Maybe it helps you: - if you are newbie in TruckersMP community, go to Knowledge Base section; - if you need support, go to Help section or create a ticket here; - if you want to learn more about TruckersMP, Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, go to Guides section; - if you want to join a virtual trucking company, go to VTC section. Dziada
This wouldn't really solve the traffic issue, could even make it worse imo. What we should focus on more is Duisburg. With the new update, the service station exit is a lot more narrow and the traffic there has been mad for the last week or two.

RichManSCTV
just dont go to Calais when there is a lot of traffic. Issue solved! Subscribe to my Youtube Channel!
Interstate Nomad
I foretell that as long as some players continue to ignore road traffic laws and in-game rules that are already in effect, no change in traffic flow will change the existing chaos in these areas. Gnl_Hugh122
It seems like a good idea but I guess the Game Moderators would have a hard time enforcing this because of the volume of people who pass through Calais.
Trigzd
Honestly I don't think this is a great idea. I think it would make traffic worse if anything. Most of the time the bigger issue is people coming out rather than entering too.
-=BBB=-Darkangel
Trying to get out of calais or duisberg somedays is like destruction derby, especially the service centre. You will always have drivers who will decide to drive on the wrong side to get out quickly so i dont think the diversions will make much difference especially how busy the area is most days
sgpch1983
the main problem is, that some people dont know or dont care how a roundabout works.. normaly the traffic inside the roundabout has the right of way.. good luck with that in calais.. *facepalm*
