Graphic mods in mp

I was wondering why none of the graphics mods available for single player work in multiplayer. I mean I get why more significant mods which affect the gameplay like maps etc aren’t supported, cause they directly impact the gameplay, but graphic mods do not.. They run on the client side and do not have any impact on the gameplay itself, so what’s the problem with them in multiplayer?

Sadly, both the game and TMP do not work that way. The mods cannot be easily activated as client side without the developers going through mods and checking every single file in them, then including them as a download for TMP, verifying that the mod has no corrupt/broken/intentionally cheaty files. You can always use external graphic modifications though (they're typically limited) (Currently this modification does not work on 1.32):

If it affects a player's FPS, TruckersMP will not normally consider implementing it, and not everyone has a highly configured computer

You can use this, however, it doesn't work in 1.32 currently
