A new Problem :/ - I'm frustrated

Question

So here I am again, with a new problem. Now TruckersMP doesn't start anymore.  I made a screenshot of the error message. The picture is below. Can someone tell me what this error message means? I am completely confused. I have an Internet connection, so why does he write Connection Error? Before the ETS2 update TruckersMP started and you could click on start until you got an error message because of a wrong version. But now after the update TruckersMP doesn't even start anymore and only this window appears.

Hi there!

 

If core_ets2mp.dll is not working for whatever reason you can get the above error.

 

Try running the launcher as administrator. 

If this doesn't work delete file path C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP and reinstall TMP.

Solution: If "core_ets2mp.dll" does not work for some reason, the above error will occur. Usually, this happens when you try to start a program update, and the game is still running in the background.

           First check if the ETS2 process is running in the background. If yes, please stop and try again. If this doesn't work, delete "core_ets2mp.dll", reopen the launcher and download the file again

           File path: C:\ ProgramData \ TruckersMP

Hello :)

Has your problem been solved ? If not, you can try these:

 

Solution 1:

  • Download Ultrasurf.
  • Run Ultrasurf.
  • Open TruckersMP in Administrator Mode.
  • Install the available updates (only the first run with Ultrasurf), wait for it to finish and Launch button appears.
  • Exit Ultrasurf

Solution 2:

  • In order to verify your game cache, go to your 'Library' and find 'Euro Truck Simulator 2'.
  • Once you find it, 'Right Click' and go to the 'Properties ' tab.
  • This will open up the properties tab. Go to the third sub-tab that says 'Local Files' where you will be presented with the following options.
  • Click on the last option to begin the validation process. This might take a few minutes.
  • Once all the files are validated, if any corrupt instances are found, then Steam will redownload those particular files for you. If not you will be greeted with a box that says no errors.
  • You have verified your game cache successfully.

Solution 3:

  • Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
  • Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
  • Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
  • Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
  • Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/
  • Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates" 

Solution 4:

Make sure that the Windows firewall does not block your connection. Open the Windows firewall and say Restore defaults.
