Save game not working in 1.31?

I was just downgrading ETS2 but when i started the game and clicked on my profile it said that this profile does not work with this version of the game? (sorry for bad english)

Hello! Unfortunately I don't think there is any other solution than backing up your profile before downgrading.

Version 1.32 contains things which 1.31 not, so your last profile save won't work in 1.31 as there're different things in 1.32 which are not in 1.31. Hope you understand what I mean

Okay, if the profile doesn't work in 1.31 do you have any idea when 1.32 is coming for multiplayer?

When you downgrade game from 1.32 to 1.31, you must load your old save game. (You can try when the game ask Load save error, just choose old save game behind that). The last save game that you play on 1.32 won't work on 1.31

i know your trouble 

if you want to play the ets  with  version 1.31 save profiles

what you just need to do pull the slider down when you select the  save profiles, you will find the old version save files.

Hello,

Before installing the new version 1.32 you need to make saving your profile to the old version 1.31, that in case of rollback with 1.32 you could safely go into the game with your profile at 1.31 without any problems. Such advice to you on the future.

ETS2 has a backup-save feature which stores saves from last version on their own folder.

Navigate to your Documents and open the "Euro Truck Simulator 2" folder inside. From there, you will see various folders, one of which should be named "profiles" and "profiles(1.31.2.12s).bak". You'll want to replace these folders with each other.

Rename "profiles" to "profiles(1.32)" and then "profiles(1.31.2.12s).bak" to "profiles", and your previous save should be working on the 1.31 version. I hope this helps.
