Unsupported game version detected! Help

Hi, im want to play ets2 MP But then i try open it it says unsupported game version detected i went to steam - ets 2 - betas and i dont have that version any solutions?

Try this solution:

 

1) Log in to Steam
2) Right-click Euro Truck Simulator 2 and click Properties
3) Navigate to the Betas tab and click the drop-down arrow
4) Choose - temporary_1_31
5) wait for it to be installed

Welcome to TMP!

 

As you may or may not know 1.32 is not currently supported by TMP therefore you will need to downgrade, here as some useful images and guide to help you do this:

 

Follow this:

1. Right click on euro truck simulator 2 in your steam library to bring up this screen:

Click on properties and then click betas and this will bring a screen like this:

3. 

 

For playing on 1.32 select "None Opt out of all beta programs"  (As in the above screenshot)

For playing on TMP select this:

4.

 

Wait for the version to download and install and happy trucking

Could you make a screenshot of what versions you do have in your beta's?

The "temporary_1_31 - 1.31.x for incompatible mods" beta, should be in the list.

After you choose beta "temporary_1_31 - 1.31.x for incompatible mods". Then you need to wait your steam download this, it can take some mins or hours depend on your internet. After download finish, you can login in game and play

And if you need help, you can make a support ticket here: https://support.truckersmp.com/. Supporters will help you by Teamviewer or something to solve your problem as sson as possible

I believe you forgot to change your save files.

Older saves from different versions are automatically backed up inside the "Euro Truck Simulator 2" folder in your Documents.

The folder that you need is named "profiles(1.31.2.12s).bak" (if you have a folder with a more recent number that starts with "1.31", use that instead!). Simply rename your "profiles" folder to something else and rename the "profiles(1.31.2.12s).bak" folder to "profiles", and you should be good to go!
