Interstate Nomad
I would definitely play ETS2/ ATS, if multiplayer never existed. Back in the days, I bought ETS2 without even knowing that there was a mutliplayer.
Sabbi.
I would still play ETS today but I think much less than before, in singleplayer you have plenty of mods that beautify the gaming experience, but to ride with friends brings next singleplayer more variety and fun
Guest
Good Night, As much as the ATS is empty, it still has a lot to grow to reach the level of ETS2, for me I play it equal to ETS2MP.
Azuly
I wouldn't, I bought this game due to TMP.
Web Developer Kid Fabi Posted September 9, 2018 Web Developer Share Posted September 9, 2018 I've played ETS for about 3 years before I decided to play on multiplayer. I had much fun playing Singleplayer, with maps like ProMods and any other mods. Would I be still playing ETS if TMP would not exists? Probably yes, but no so often and not 3-5 hours daily. //R8 Power
Yeah. But it would be boring.
FemmyVoid
I would still play it, got mods to make it more fun. However, TruckersMP definitely is one of the mods that keeps me hooked to the game. Each drive is different. Chief Technology Officer & Developer for Freightway. Zulnex
I would probably be playing ETS2/ATS very rarely. Honestly - TruckersMP takes it on a whole new different and fun level.
Leon Baker
I have not played SinglePlayer since I joined TruckersMP. It's really boring for me to drive alone with AI, so I think my answer is no.

Sempg
Absolutely - mods, especially map mods, would keep me driving. Would I still play vanilla? Probably not.
Scottywonderful
I still play single player as sometimes I don't want to hear people singing over the CB or ramming me with no reason. I would still play single player if Multiplayer wasn't around, just wouldn't be as fun as I wouldn't be able to convoy with friends. Nay_12112001
More then likely yes but I don't think that it would be as relaxing as it is today. Knowing that you're playing against real people! Regards- Naterized!

TFM_Mikey
Yes. But not as much. Sometimes I think that TMP drivers are pretty much the best "AI Traffic Mods" for the simple reasons that it seems more as if you are driving with real people on the road (wonder why that is...) Positivetrucking168
Well, to be honest, if TruckersMP didn't exist I would still be playing ETS2 single player, the reason being is that I am quite well accustomed to single player gameplay and secondly, there is a lot of map modifications as well as all sorts of vehicle mods that I could experiment with if the original game gets boring enough. McDodge34 [FR QC]
For sure I would still play, but probably a lot less often than with TruckersMP, I enjoy peaceful driving with respectful drivers, its why I enjoy EU#1 server, there's not that many people in there, but we don't have to brace for impact when we encounter anyone cause 90-95% of trolls don't play on EU#1 cause they can't speed up like a racing demolition derby for trucks. But I must admit TruckersMP is what started my Steam Library, with ETS2. I had a pirated copy of the game before and wanted to purchase it, then I learned TruckersMP was a thing and I wanted to join the fun, so I decided to get the game and Going East DLC, there was a sale at the time for both, and since that day, I have 91 games in my steam library while before that, I mostly used pirated copy of games, except for multiplayer games which required of course legit versions. Xiolin
Yes, though not as much. Single players has it benefits, but it would get tiresome and slightly boring to just be dealing with AI traffic the entire time. I'd definitely check out more mods and such for the game, as I rarely ever touch those so I do not mess anything up for joining TMP servers, but I would definitely miss the variety of issues (traffic jams, predictability, etc.) and traffic that real people controlling a truck can cause. Strangely, I find that more enjoyable then dealing with AI on rails. TruckersMP Retired Game Moderator
Axorell
Yes. Definitely. Seeing as I'm starting on my truck driver license from January, ETS2 is extremely helpful and educational to what it is in real life. And with mods the game become way more enjoyable to play alone.
