Greymagic27
I think it would be cool for SCS to add a ingame recorder to ets2. I really want this because running a third party recorder like OBS really drops my frames due to me being on a laptop. I know this is probably wishful thinking though - Greymagic27 -Greymagic27
Happy Rogue
I use fraps its about £25 but I don’t lose any FPS, I highly recommend it
AshlynsGaming
but I believe your game will still lag even if you have an option for your game to record itself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Stay happy and safe
Grundii
I am using Geforce Experience - It's free, but only usable if you have NVIDIA Graphics Card (I have NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1050 Ti). Kind regards, ɢʀᴜɴᴅɪɪ Retired Manager
NeonLeon
Why should SCS implement it, they haven't got something to do with our recording system of truckersmp. If we should implement it into the multiplayer in your opinion, you should create a suggestion in the forum about it. I am using GeForce Experience as well and I never have got lags/ fps drops because of it. So, in my opinion we don't need this system. Andrey_(178rus)
I don't think you really need to have an in-game recorder in ETS2MP because it will hardly increase your FPS. You'd better buy a better graphic card (if it's possible) or manually decrease the quality of in-game graphics in the settings. Changing software will have a very small effect, I suppose. Haulvoc
I don't know if laptop gpu's support it, but if you have an nvidia gpu, go to OBS encoder settings and select nvenc as the encoder. This has almost no impact on FPS on my pc. It has lower quality than x264 but it's good enough for reports. There's also quick sync but I've never tried that. NealCaffrey
If SCS would add something like this I bet it would just save trucks positions in time and their actions. So it would not be big data to save, something like demos in CSGO. This way you can record a lot and always go back to place you want, play it in game and record using external software. Leon Baker
It will be good to have in-game recorder but I'm pretty sure it will cause fps drops. When I had laptop I was recording with Mirillis Action, that's great software to record or stream, but It's hard to find cracked version, at least I didn't have fps drops or something. When I bought new PC I started recording and streaming with GeForce Experience's software ShadowPlay which is also really great, I don't have lags, freezes, fps drops or something similliar. That's just great software for Nvidia videocard owners, but the problem is that Geforce Experience has some bugs.
Sabbi.
I use the geforce experience and have no problems with it, no lags when recording. Of course, only if you have a Nvidia graphics card installed. But I think about taking another recording program just to test how the others are
