Icons on Plate?

Hello!

 

So my friend recently came across a fairly interesting plate wich somehow got a Instagram logo on it and i would want to know how the heck he did that.

With save editing-you can add any material in the game to your license plate. I assume theres an Instagram symbol in the game so SCS can advertise their Instagram somewhere.

That topic doesn't cover how to change or find the textures-but it shows you this line:

<offset hshift=2><img src=/material/ui/lp/czech/frontb.mat color=FFFFFFFF width=5 height=50>

You can see the material in the middle of the line.

Its as simple as changing out the line to another material in the game.

All of the materials can be found in the base.scs file.

Hello Mate

 

If you follow these steps, you can see this logo on your license plate;

 

Enter My Documents > Click on the Euro Truck Simulator 2 > Profiles >  Click on your Profile >  Save > (In this step, you've need to download this file) paste the downloaded file into this folder > Drag the file named  ''Game'' onto the application you pasted into this folder > Press LCTRL + F and search ''license_plate'' >  (In this step you need to download a file) paste the code in the notebook you downloaded in front of Licence_Plate and save the Notebook.

 

If you do all of these steps, your problem will be resolved :=)

You can be banned for doing certain types of save editing and I am not sure if that is allowed so I would be careful if you want to do that.

This Icon i guess can only be made by a local mod, as i never saw anyone having this icon as a public save edited license plate. It can also be the example above, not sure about it tho.

Hey there,

 

You can do alot with save editing. Before you make that instagram logo make sure to ask your friend if its poasible and legal in the multiplayer version

Hello!

 

"Problem" is solved i just needed the code, but thanks for all responses!

And there is nothing that forbids having icons on the plate except if you use explicit language but other people can see the  "Instagram Logo" on other peoples trucks if the have it.
