Error, conection, HELP.

FalconZ

Question

Hello, I'm here again. Well, a few days ago I asked for help here because my Truckers Multiplayer was not loading the players and even then it appeared on the "TAB" key. Well, I followed these steps: Hello, try those:

Go to Documents and Delete the ETS2MP Folder Press the Windows Key + R (Win + R) on your keyboard Enter "% programdata%" and press Enter (Without the quotes) Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.

 And

Navigate to C: \ Program Files \ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher" And, go to re / download this launcher here And also these steps:

1. Try turning your router off for 1 minute and then turning it back on and see if you still have connection problems

2. Try clearing your DNS cache, follow this link for the guide https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/CKB/How+To+Clear+Your+DNS+Cache

3. Try changing your DNS to Google's one and see if that has any effect https://www.techworm.net/2016/08/change-default-dns-google-dns-fast-internet-speeds.html

4. Try re-setting your win-sock cache

step 1: click on windows search program and type "cmd" enter (run cmd as admin, right click run admin)

step 2: once you're in, type "netsh winsock reset catalog" enter

step 3: type "netsh int ip reset.log hit" enter

step 4: restart your computer   Reset your network adapter, firewall and DHCP.

Okay, I did this and solved it, but now I connect in the truckers and the players load too, but soon after loading they stop and it happens like in the following images: NOTE: The wheels of the trucks keep walking, but they are stopped. @FalconZ Hello!

Try to connect to the server using mobile data on your phone.

Probably, there is a problem with your internet connection or your modem. Turn off your modem and try turning it back on after 5 minutes.

Hello,

Restart your router - (You've already done it.)  and stop any other updates that may use all your bandwidth. Also make sure your Firewall/Antivirus is not blocking the launcher.

Also, make sure you have all other connected devices to your network disconnected and try to play with cable if you are over Wi-Fi. If you keep having connection problems try to open the specific ports: 42860, 49200, 42890. Also set Google DNS, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 "

Best regards.

WARNING: Do not drive around while this is happening! To other players you are visible and you will hit them without noticing. To them it will look like you use a no collision hack.

This is the third post about this problem I've seen in only a couple of days. Two people were banned because of this, although one of them got unbanned soon after explaining what actually happened. The other person is still banned.

Edit: The other person also got unbanned.

Hello :)

Try this:

  • Upgrade your connection speed through your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Often ISP's will offer several different connection speeds for different prices. A higher connection speed will allow you to send and receive data faster and lower your ping. You can also switch to a different ISP that offers higher speeds.
  • Use a free online bandwidth testing tool such as BandwidthPlace to ensure you are receiving the speed promised by your ISP. If you are not receiving the advertised speed, let your ISP know and they will attempt to optimize your internet speed.
  • Use a wired internet connection instead of a wireless connection or router. A fixed line connection allows for a more stable flow of data and will lead to lower ping and smoother game play. Additionally, a wired connection avoids the possibility of other computers simultaneously using the internet and using up bandwidth.
  • Disable any firewalls, such as ZoneAlarm, Norton, and McAfee. Although this step may expose your computer to temporary risks, many firewalls substantially slow down internet connection speed. Disabling firewalls that directly monitor web traffic will lower your ping.
  • Exit any applications that may be using up bandwidth. Heavy bandwidth users include applications or browsers that are downloading music, video or other files. Light bandwidth users include chat programs, open browsers and any other application that uses the internet in any way.
  • Choose a server that is geographically close to you. Using servers that are geographically close to you to lowers your ping because the amount of time it takes for a data packet to travel between yourself and the server will be reduced. Use filter options to sort servers by region or look up the IP address to find out where it is hosted.
  • Adjust in-game settings to make sure that there is no default bandwidth cap. This depends on each individual game. The best strategy is to use Google to search for the name of the game you are playing together with the term "bandwidth cap" and browse the results.
