I don't use mods like this, but I believe that when you launch singleplayer, you need to actually attach the modded trailer you chose and then quit and go to MP. For the always starting in Amsterdam, you probably did a economy reset and didn't change back to 0, so the game resets your economy each time it starts and sends your truck to your home company. You need to set the "economy_reset" back to 0, via the in-game console or by editing your save file. Welcome to the forums!

Plese follow this steps 

 

You only will activate mod in - singleplayer and you take a trailer , and save it... Then you normally will be go to MP 

 

 

If you have a problem with Crashing game , when you take the trailer , please also you try this step :

Then , after this step , you will be start to Euro Truck Simulator 2 with DirectX on few minutes and then you can go to multiplayer
