Installing status page cachet - Access Denied

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I've seen that the status page of TMP is running on Cachet. I've tried to install this open source program to my Linux Debian 8 system. During the installation & configuration I've used this official guide: https://docs.cachethq.io/docs/installing-cachet

Now on the step "Using the install command" with the command "php artisan app:install" i am getting this error:

Quote

[PDOException]
  SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user 'homestead'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Screenshot of the error & my previous commands: http://prntscr.com/kbntlx

My question to experienced users & dev's: Did you have the same error and/or did you know any solutions for this issue? I've already used google to search my problem but I don't know how and what I have to change in my configs.

//Update 1

I've created own user & database with phpmyadmin both named "cachet" with own password. I've edited this in the .env file in the folder Cachet (/var/www/html/cachet)

Now folowing error occured: http://prntscr.com/kbnzcz

Hey,

I've checked the .env file in folder /var/www/html/cachet & checked the DB_DATABASE and the other values but they all are okay.

Even a structure was already auto created in the database named "cachet": http://prntscr.com/kbowh2

From now I am inactive for the next 3 days because I am not @Home. But I will try to look for new answers via smartphone.

Thanks for now :)

Kind regards,
