New command "/mute"

+1 would like to have this command, would be more practical, as I drive by mouse, in these situations I have to stop the truck to access the TAB and select the player to mute or turn off the CB radio.

I've never used the CB radio in-game. If I want to communicate with my friend driving behind me, I talk to him on Discord or TS3. But I still think it's a great idea to have that command since some people would definitely use it.

I don't support this idea considering that there is already a tool that does the exact same thing not forcing the player to type while driving, which I consider unnecessary.

Searching for a player on the TAB list or typing while driving is equally dangerous, if the list is full then consider stopping at the shoulder or in a safe place and looking for the player on the list calmly.

Safety first!

Suggestion Name: New command "/mute"

Suggestion Description: The command will allow the player mute the chooses player. For example: /mute 1024 and the player is from now muted. I know You gonna say just use [TAB] and search the player on change the CB radio but if You for example on the most popular C-D road, it's some times difficult because they are 140 players in Your range and searching for these one guy is sometimes difficult when You are driving with a truck.
Everyone knows the problem, most they are saying "shut up" or else because it's easier...

Any example images: I will give a example of the problem: https://youtu.be/5VQ7_Iu4bF4 and if You can see i can't concentrate because i'm looking for this guy to mute him and the same time there is a vehicle riding straight on me.

Why should it be added?: This will make our life easier.

the command will be very useful.

Kind regards,

+1 I hope you can still discuss it and that it can be added to the game. I ride a lot with friends and on convoys and it's bad when we can't find a spam player quickly because many drive with keyboard and even mouse, which forces us to stop the truck and wait for others. Not just friends, but much of the community uses the keyboard and mouse to drive.

I use the Xbox Joystick and it's hard for me to use [TAB] because I need to turn on cruise control and analog steering while using the mouse and try to find a player that is spamming on CB radio and I risk causing a accident if there are more than 10 players, because I will have to scroll the list until I find who I am looking for.

Using the keyboard command would take less time, because when someone uses the radio, the username and ID on the server appear in the upper left corner. You see the ID, just type (example) "/mute 153" and you're done, player 153 is mutated.

Others will say "Just change channels/off the radio". OK. There is an accident ahead and a player is warning to be careful on the way. If I turn off the radio, I don't know this information. I gave this example because I am an Escort and the use of radio during the convoys our group organizes, keeping the radio clean without spam is extremely important.

Driving with the mouse on the Arcade server (to avoid accidents) before expressing my opinion and felt how difficult it is to use the [TAB] tab while driving. Therefore, I support the inclusion of this command in the game to bring more accessibility to the gameplay.

I hope my opinion helps to contribute to the addition of this command. I look forward to seeing you soon :)

Currently I shut off the CB or switch channels if I get someone over the CB who "ate their mic". However, that makes it impossible for me to catch those players who abuse the CB by playing their music over it. A /mute command would help. Also it would help if all it took was a number as an argument to mute someone (/mute 45, /mute 1752... etc). Something to add on to this is that the mutes are only good during the session, the players will get unmuted after you restart your game, but I'd also like to see a "Perm Mute" so if someone cussed you out on the CB for example , you can perm mute them so you don't hear from them anymore (I'd report them too).

only thing is, if you type "/pmute 3231" for example may actually mute someone who you dont mind as the number is determined by your position in the server.  to permanent mute someone you would need to mute their actual id, rather than slot number AS THAT CHANGES every game

I never said that... I'm well aware that slots change. "/mute 1752" mutes the player who is occupying slot 1752, the player who is occupying that slot gets unmuted if you restart the game and he's still occupying that slot, or if they restart and get a different slot.

Let me clarify when I say perm mute, when you "/pmute 1752", whoever is in that slot you get the TruckersMP ID of that player who is in the slot and you won't hear that player again, if someone else occupies 1752 you'd hear them. When a Game Moderator bans the player who is in slot 1752, it doesn't mean that nobody can use slot 1752 again would it? ?

In the tab menu you can specify which radio frequency it will be.

In the tag menu you only change the default radio channel as shown in the image below, so the change will only be applied after you restart the game, it will not change the current radio channel.

To do this you need to open the tab by looking at the radio above in the cabin, then right-click to enable the yellow arrow and then change the radio channel by clicking the button next to the number like so.

Please read the first post before you start sending useless posts in this topic.

@sQCF - Beater the main idea of this suggestion is only to mute one or several people and to stay in the current CB channel.
