0 Gainer Posted July 26, 2018 Share Posted July 26, 2018 Hello, try this steps: If you are using Win 7 make sure you have Service Pack installed. Try to run the TruckersMP as administrator. If you are using any mods turn them off Make sure you put correct path when you install the TruckersMP - default path is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2\ Turn off antivirus Turn off firewall In additon this video will be useful Cheerio! 0 Soul Knight Posted July 26, 2018 Share Posted July 26, 2018 hello have your problem been solved? if not, try this steps 1.Make sure you have the latest .Net Framework 2.Clean your temp files with CCleaner 3.Check your temp files path and make sure it's located at C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache 4.If you don't have "INetCache" folder make a new folder and name it "temp" and then open the Windows temp settings and choose the new path. Install the available updates (only the first run with Ultrasurf), wait for it to finish and Launch button appears. Exit Ultrasurf Solution 2: 1. Run the program as an administrator (right click the shortcut and select 'run as an administrator' and accept the UAC prompt.) 2. Run TruckersMP in compatibility mode for Windows 7, please follow this guide http://pearsonsupport.helpserve.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/210/21/how-to-install-or-run-a-program-in-compatibility-mode-in-windows-7 3. Install these two programs .NET Framework 4.6.2 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53344 VisualC++ 2015 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 Solution 3: The launcher cannot connect with the TruckersMP server to download the updates. Restart your router and stop any other updates that may use all your bandwidth. Also make sure your Firewall/Antivirus is not blocking the launcher. Windows Firewall a) Open the control panel Click on Windows Firewall c) If the Windows Firewall is enabled, the Windows Firewall state will be On. To turn it off, in the left navigation pane, click on Turn Windows Firewall off. d) In the Customize Settings window, select Turn off Windows Firewall and click OK. 2.) Windows Defender a) Open Windows Defender Security Center. Click on Virus & threat protection. c) Click the Virus & threat protection settings option. d) Turn off the Real-time protection toggle switch. Once you've completed the steps, the Windows 10 antivirus will disable its real-time protection temporarily, which is more than enough time to install applications or performing a task that was getting blocked by the feature. However, because this is a temporary solution, the next time you restart your computer Windows Defender Antivirus will re-enable automatically on your machine. 3.) If the computer is 64 bit, the drivers for the game components of your computer should be missing, I'll give you a program called Driver Booster to update all the game components and after downloading this program this program will show you how many missing drivers are involved in the game. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
