Freezes on Launch

When I launch Ets Mp it loads the window, then just freezes until I close it. This does not happen with Sp(other than OpenGL mode for some reason)

 

Tried verify its cache in steam already

After a bit of fiddling, I have found out it was running the OpenGL version of the game for some reason, getting it to run it in directX fixed the problem.

Follow these steps:

1. Make sure you have the latest version .Net Framework (4.7) & DirectX & Microsoft Visual C++ 2015
2. Update your graphics card,

And,

Delete TrucksMP application on your computer and again download.

For this:

 

• Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
• Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
• Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
• Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
• Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/

• Click Start -> Run. (or Win + R)
• Type regedit and hit Enter.
• Follow the path. "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TruckersMP"
• Look at the value parameter. "InstallLocationETS2"

Try doing one of these options that

 

Solution 1:

• I would have you navigate to the default location of the game and try to run the .exe file from there. Check if it works.

Solution 2:

• You should perform a Clean Boot.

Placing the computer in a Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to perform the steps from the article.
Now, try to play the game.

Hello, 

 

   I had some issues with my game freezing up also as I was trying to go I’m game. I was logging loads with trucks book. I tried reinstalling TMP and it didn’t help it so o proceeded to uninstal trucks book and now I haven’t had any issues going in game, hopefully this helps.

Nothing above this has helped the game.

If the game is not started through steam it freezes(just opening the exe), it only run properly if opened through steam. If I open the x64 version of the game(which my CPU is) it freezes, but the x84 version runs fine. Through steam I can get the 32 bit version to run, but the 64 bit version freezes, despite the PC been 64 bit.
