Hello,

Un-install TruckersMP and then go and download the latest version from here: https://truckersmp.com/download then when you extract the executable what I want you to do is run it as an administrator, (right click, run as admin) and install.

visual picture

So you get to the login screen, press login (with the server selected) and it shows that message?

You see that specific message is pertaining to the ETS 2 base game so this is an issue with the mod either not detecting that you have the latest version installed or something else is bugged.

As a last resort if none of the above solves your issue.

Completely re-install ETS 2, once re-installed open and choose Direct X 64 bit, then go into game and play a short job or something.

Exit and re-install TruckersMP again (as admin)

Open TruckersMP (as an admin)

See if the issue is resolved.

If the issue is still present even after trying these methods then please contact the official support team via this link who can help you further

Hello,

"Start by restarting your router. If this doesn't help make sure you have all other connected devices to your network disconnected and try to play with cable if you are over Wi-Fi. If you keep having connection problems try to open the specific ports: 42860, 49200, 42890. Also set Google DNS, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 "

Best regards.

Hello :)

Follow these guides:

Verify the router or modem if the "UPNP" option is active, you usually find this option in the configures of your modem / router entering through the IP, for example: "192.168.1.1".

If it still doesn't work, try these:

Solution 1:

1. Run the program as an administrator (right click the shortcut and select 'run as an administrator' and accept the UAC prompt.

2. Run TruckersMP in compatibility mode for Windows 7, please follow this guide http://pearsonsupport.helpserve.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/210/21/how-to-install-or-run-a-program-in-compatibility-mode-in-windows-7

3. Install these two programs

Solution 2:

1. Reset your network adapator

This page will guide you through what you need to do and explains for different Windows operating systems as you scroll down.

https://kb.wisc.edu/page.php?id=6653

You type

·         netsh int ip reset reset.txt

·         netsh winsock reset

·         netsh advfirewall reset

In to a DOS window (Comand Prompt).

2.

Type "netsh int ip reset.log hit" enter

Restart your computer

Timeout

Solution:

Update/finish Windows Updates.

Internet connection issues

Possible Solution:

Start by restarting your router. If this doesn't help make sure you have all other connected devices to your network disconnected and try to play with cable if you are over Wi-Fi. If you keep having connection problems try to open the specific ports: 42860, 49200, 42890. Also set Google DNS, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Make sure Windows Firewall is not blocking the connection. Start by opening Windows Firewall and Restore defaults.

If none of these work you could try to clear your Hosts file, enable DHCP, Flush DNS Cache, Clear ARP/Route Table with the tool that is provided below.

Here is another tool for tweaking your network card

https://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php

Select your connection speed, hit "Optimal" and restart your PC. If you know what to do or you have read somewhere about recommended settings for games you can also use custom settings.

Last, if you have any problem for using this program you can change your settings back by selecting "Windows Default".

Optimize your Wi-Fi if cable is not an option.

Phones are known to cause ping problems really ofter when it tries to sync or backup photos or settings, e-mails etc to the cloud, because it maxes your upload speed in conclusion to get high ping.

You said that you play over Wi-Fi. Playing games over Wi-Fi is not recommended at all, there are many factors that could cause you ping problems.

1.Distance, obstacles

2.Adapter and router protocol(B, G, N, AC)

3.Neighbourhood Wi-Fi activity.

The simplest test that you can do to achieve a better result is to download a Wi-Fi Analyzer to your phone and try to choose a channel that is not used at all or a channel that doesn't confict your peak signal with

a random one.

I've noticed it for myself as well because if i connect my phone to my Wi-Fi i can reach 2800ms while it is syncing.
