Pixeled interior camera

Rubberduck9861

Question

I loaded into game today, after update, and found my interior was all messed up(see pic). Its like the camera is all pixels and some things are doubled like the GPS screen and hood mirrors.  This happened once before, but i cant remember if it was after an update or not. I dont know if it has something to do with the rain in-game because before this, it never rained in-game, thus no issue. My only fix before was to start a new game from scratch. Exterior view is ok, no problem, only interior.

Hey there,

The rain in-game shouldn't be a problem for your camera view. Have you already tried to validate your game?

If not, here's how to do so:

- Go to your Steam Library and right-click American Truck Simulator

- Select "Properties"

- Go to the tab called "Local Files"

- Select the option called "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"

- Wait a few minutes for it to finish

If above hasn't helped you, please try to update your drivers (The ones in your computer, not the drivers you hired in the game :P).

Doing so might resolve your problem.

If any of above hasn't helped, I suggest you to contact Support via our Support and Help-Desk: https://truckersmp.com/support

If any of above did help, please let us know which one so we can remind to re-use it whenever someone else has this problem.

Kindest Regards,

Hello,

  • "Update your graphic card driver.
  • Take care not to play in busy areas.
  • Pull down your graphics settings.
  • You maybe need a new profile, delete old and get a new one.
  • Reinstall the mod and make sure that you put correct in directory. (\Steam\SteamApps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2)
  • Don't use unsupported mods. Also too many mods can cause your game to crash. You can find supported and allowed mod from here.
  • Delete file Documents/ETSMP (Please before deleting, backup this file)
  • That's may be caused by missing game file.Go to Steam Library / Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2 / Properties / Local Files / Verify Integrity of Game Files.
  • Make sure you have the latest .Net Framework (4.7) & DirectX & Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 and use CCleaner to remove temporary files and obsolete registry paths."

Best regards.

Sincerely,

Problem solved. :D Updated graphics card, and loaded into game, everything back to normal, so to speak. One little weird thing though, when i click the icon on my desktop, the launch screen is white, not the normal "graphic". Game boots fine though, no issue. Just kinda odd, lol.  Thank you everyone for your feedback and getting me back on the road. :tmp:
