Hi, macOS is indeed unsupported and probably won’t be supported (At least while ETS2 is being updated regularly by SCS)

You can get round this by using a VM (This offers somewhat low performance), or you can use Boot Camp to dual bot with a Windows partition (And use the Option key to select which upon startup). You can read up more here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/boot-camp

VM = Virtual Machine, basically running Windows within macOS. And yes, boot camp is perfectly safe, it’s an official Apple software that you can use to partition your drive and install windows onto it.

Although you say it’s a MacBook Air- if it’s on 10.13 High Sierra it might not work due to the lack of APFS (Apple File System) support within Boot Camp Assistant, having thought of it. In which case, a VM would be your only option.

Hello there;

TruckerSM does not support mac systems at the moment.

The systems that TruckerSMP supports are; Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10, 64-bit.

Apart from these, no other system is supported at this time.

Best Regards;
