Posted June 14, 2018 Popular Post Share Posted June 14, 2018 Suggestion Name: TMP Tag for Staff in Game Suggestion Description: So as you know if a GM is logged in (or anyone above) it says what position they are in-game - "XXXX (Game Moderator 123): XXXX". I think it would be a good idea to see if other Staff positions could have the same but in their appropriate color in game. Such as "XXXX (Community Moderator 123): XXXX", "XXXX (Support 123): XXX" etc Any example images: Why should it be added?: It would make the different Staff members stand out in game and would I think it could look nice in-game. Only thing that could clash is perhaps the fact members have multiple ranks in TMP - maybe you could use highest up rank they have etc? 11 30 Kind regards, Ali. I really like the effort you have put into it and the proposal itself sounds very reasonable. If there was a way for other staff members to "log in" without actually getting in-game powers like Game Moderators do, they could still have their name displayed. If that is the case, many people will know that this person is part of the TruckersMP team and thus, curious people can ask plenty of questions they might have. Especially those who do not know where to ask things or those who do not visit the forum will benefit from that idea of having the ranks shown in the game. The Management has also collected some ideas about what could possibly be improved but there are no fixed plans yet. In that sense, we will see what can be done in the future. The message, however, should remain as usual as it may seem like an official announcement which only game moderators can and should be able to post. Hope you understand my point of view. As us GM+ try to multitask but goes out of hand, especially on the C-D//D-C road. We can’t be answering whilst banning/kicking/teleporting.
