screen resolution Screen mode is don't sets

Mod Version:1.31 
Controllers Used:Logitech G27
Description of Issue:

I can not change the screen resolution from full screen to onscreen. When I click apply the changes, the game freezes. 
How to reproduce:

You can change the resolution only in a single version of the game.

if possible, try to attach a video so we can see how to reproduce it and what actually happens. Also, if somebody else is experiencing the same issue, please let us know by replying with evidence to this topic.

Have you tried installing LATEST video drivers?

If no go install them, if yes, can you post a vid(like Anriandor said)?

EDIT:

to install drivers, go in device manager, find your video card, right click, click on update drivers.

It should do everything, but to be sure, go on your manufacturer's site and check that the driver's version is the really latest.

Then restart the game and let us know.

try to update the video drivers, you can find all the updates on the site of the manufacturer of your video card.
