Speed Limiter

Greetings everyone,

 

I have a problem, Everytime in-game when i uncheck the SpeedLimiter box and than go to the truck again the speedlimiter will put itself on again. I keep unchecking the box but it keeps comming back. Its not that this is bad offcourse but sometimes on a highway it is a bit dangerous only doing 90 in my opinion.

 

I hope you can help me.

Hello

please try to close the speed limit(90km/h) from the game files;

Just open C:\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\ and navigate into the folder of your current profile. Open 'config.cfg' with a Text Editor, search for the line "uset g_use_speed_limiter" and make sure to put a "0" next to it. Then save and close the config-file and check if your speed limiter keeps disabled now

Are you driving with the trailers from World of trucks?

CrackPrewier i searched it up but it seems that it was already on "0" but its still on in-game.

Try a different profile if its normal on the different profile i would get rid of that profile it doesnt work on because there could be a file corruption that would/ could spoil and do something to the game kind Regards

Well you will lose your progression if you delete your save mate. if you keep it you can play on it but you would only go 90 kmh like you said. Well i suggest you go 90 kmh in ets2 mp anyway it really nice playing like that and its safe for you and others regards

please try to close the speed limit(90km/h) from the TAB settings

In your MP options , you might have the speed limit on. You need to disable the limiter in  the MP's tab menu settings
