Can't Access MP

Question

i am trying to access MP but keep getting this error, everything on my laptop is up to date including .NET

 

I use bit defender but have white listed the games and the MP launcher.

 

i have re-installed multiple tijmes and continuously get the same error, can anyone help?

Hello,

 

The launcher cannot connect with the TruckersMP server to download the updates. Restart your router and stop any other updates that may use all your bandwidth. Also make sure your Firewall/Antivirus is not blocking the launcher.

Hey! This is a well-known error. Please download  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53344. Then once downloaded, restart your pc and open the TMP Launcher as Administrator. More help needed? Reply here!

I disabled both antivirus and firewall. direct x is up to date and i dont use any proxy or vpn

 

where do i put the rasapi32 file?

I have tried this but it says the installation cannot occur as i allready have 4.6.2 or a later update installed

Dear @PsycoWithATwist if you have already ensure that TMP isn't blocked by your antivirus software / firewall, please try to perform the following steps:

 

- Press the Windows-key + R, type %programdata% and press Enter

- Search for the folder 'TruckersMP' and delete it

- Navigate to the installation path of TMP and run 'unins000.exe'

- Perform a Windows Disk Cleanup on C:\ and the drive where TMP has been installed

- Visit https://truckersmp.com/download and download the launcher again

- Reinstall the TMP-launcher, IMPORTANT: Make sure to install it into your Steam-profile, where ETS 2/ATS is installed as well. So in the end your installation path should be something like D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TruckersMP.

- After the installation is complete, right-click the TMP-launcher -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Tick 'Run this program as administrator'

Hello :)

Follow these guides:

Solution 1:

  • Download Ultrasurf.
  • Run Ultrasurf.
  • Open TruckersMP in Administrator Mode.
  • Install the available updates (only the first run with Ultrasurf), wait for it to finish and Launch button appears.
  • Exit Ultrasurf 
  • https://ultrasurf.us/

Solution 2:

  • In order to verify your game cache, go to your 'Library' and find 'Euro Truck Simulator 2'.
  • Once you find it, 'Right Click' and go to the 'Properties ' tab.
  • This will open up the properties tab. Go to the third sub-tab that says 'Local Files' where you will be presented with the following options.
  • Click on the last option to begin the validation process. This might take a few minutes.
  • Once all the files are validated, if any corrupt instances are found, then Steam will redownload those particular files for you. If not you will be greeted with a box that says no errors.
  • You have verified your game cache successfully.

Solution 3:

1. Run the program as an administrator (right click the shortcut and select 'run as an administrator' and accept the UAC prompt.)

2. Run TruckersMP in compatibility mode for Windows 7, please follow this guide http://pearsonsupport.helpserve.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/210/21/how-to-install-or-run-a-program-in-compatibility-mode-in-windows-7

  • Verify the router or modem if the "UPNP" option is active, you usually find this option in the configures of your modem / router entering through the IP, for example: "192.168.1.1".
  • Try using any VPN program (https://tur.windscribe.com/download) or hotspot of your phone, try again.
  • Run CMD as an administrator,type the following commands.
  • netsh int ip reset
    netsh winsock reset

     

Solution 2:

  • The version of your Euro Truck Simulator 2 is wrong or the version of MP trucks. Make sure your steam beta is NONE - opt out of all programs
  • Try lowering it again: https://truckersmp.com/download
  • Then send your TMP launcher to your deskop as icon and click again

 

Solution 3:
1. Clean your temp files with CCleaner
2. Check your temp files path and make sure it's located at C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache
3. If you don't have "INetCache" folder make a new folder and name it "temp" and then open the Windows temp settings and choose the new path.

 

Solution 4:

2. Restart your PC
3. Make a right click on "TruckersMP"

I have done all this, also just so you know, there is someone at the same place as me who can access mp on their own computer, i have also tried different connections
