You can try the following.

1. Try restarting your router then try again.

2. Make sure Windows Firewall is not blocking the connection. Start by opening Windows Firewall and Restore defaults.

3. If that doesn't work, you may need to reinstall TruckersMP

4. You have tried all this, you can see what others post here or if you're still having problems, you may want to create a support ticket

Hi there

You may be having a connection problem, here are some things you can try to resolve the issue.

1. Try turning your router off for 1 minute and then turning it back on and see if you still have connection problems

2. Try clearing your DNS cache, follow this link for the guide https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/CKB/How+To+Clear+Your+DNS+Cache

3. Try changing your DNS to Google's one and see if that has any effect https://www.techworm.net/2016/08/change-default-dns-google-dns-fast-internet-speeds.html

4. Try re-setting your win-sock cache

  1. Click on windows search program and type "cmd" enter (run cmd as an admin, right click run as admin)
  2. Once you're in, type "netsh winsock reset catalog" enter
  3. Type "netsh int ip reset.log hit" enter
  4. Restart your computer

Reset your network adapter, firewall and DHCP.

This page will guide you through what you need to do and explains for different Windows operating systems as you scroll down.

You type

·         netsh int ip reset reset.txt

·         netsh winsock reset

·         netsh advfirewall reset

into a command prompt window

Hiya!

It looks like there could be a issue with your ISP (Internet service Provider). These are common things when connecting to new software that requires a full connection that they haven't seen before.

Check above that the others have provided and try your hardest! Hope to see you ingame soon!

Hello :)

Follow these guides:

Solution 1:

1. Do a dns flush: https://www.wikihow.com/Flush-DNS

2. Clear your PC's temp files with Clean Master for PC: https://www.cleanmasterofficial.com/en-us/?f=cmold

3. Open up your Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del on keyboard and see if there are some updating services running in the background processes , Example: Adobe IPC Broker service,or any form of updater service which updates softwares you use in the background.

4. Do a Disk Cleanup of C: drive - https://support.microsoft.com/de-de/help/17421/windows-free-up-drive-space#delete-files-using-disk-cleanup=windows-8 , P.S The top right corner where it says Windows 8.1/Windows RT 8.1 , Click drop down arrow and select your version of windows 7/8/10)

5. Disable any unwanted programs you dont want running and hogging internet: https://www.howtogeek.com/74523/how-to-disable-startup-programs-in-windows/

Solution 2:

Have you tried connect to other servers ?

Try these:

  • Try single player and then go to Multiplayer again
  • Reset your router
  • Changed DNS
  • Launch ETS2 with direcxt (64 bit), drive, save, launch TMP
  • Check files integrability
  • Unistall TMP + regedit + reinstall (administrator)
  • Update your Graphic drivers
  • Try new profile
  • Load previous save game

Solution 3:

Start by restarting your router. If this doesn't help make sure you have all other connected devices to your network disconnected and try to play with cable if you are over Wi-Fi. If you keep having connection problems try to open the specific ports: 42860, 49200, 42890. Also set Google DNS, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Make sure Windows Firewall is not blocking the connection. Start by opening Windows Firewall and Restore defaults.
