Cheat mod

Hello

 

I have downloaded a mod from Steam Workshop, because I was kinda unsatisfied with the amound of money grinding in this game, and decided to increase that a little bit. The mod appeared to be a stupid cheat, because I suddely became a 'Legend' after the first short job, and my level increased up to 1k+. And I have got more than one BILLION credits for that.

 

That save is 100% ruined, because there is absolutely no fun in playing with such unfair global godmode enabled.

 

But Im still unsatisfied with the pay rate, I think its increadibly small, and quite unrealistic. So... Can I use some mods, that perhaps double the pay/exp amount? Or increase it up to 1.5x rate for example? Or it is a bannable offence in truckers MP?

 

Im asking this in particular, because the game ruins all my jobs, that can be done only by bypassing the toll system, train or ferry. There is something wrong with this MP, and it tells me that my job is overdue up to 1400983788210 days or smth like that (if I use toll/train/ferry). Which is juts utter bs.

You cannot use any workshop mods in the multiplayer itself as they are not allowed. The modifications that are in-game are the Skoda and the Caravan, which were added onto the game by the Developers. Fortunately enough, or not, you cannot use such modifications in the multiplayer.

There's a line you can "edit" with the console and change the pay rate, but IMO the vanilla incomes from the jobs is absurdly high. Some people have done the opposite of what you're trying, lower the income ratio to 10%, because earning 200K € for a 2000 Km journey... Do you really think that it's underpaid?

 

The line is g_income_factor <x.Y>

 

Default value is 1.0, you can change to 1.5 to get what you want.

So... What will happen, if i log in in my 'ruined' save? The stupid OP will be disabled automatically, or it will simply not let me log in?

Any mods you have won't even show up when you log in to MP. All money you've earned in SP will still be in your save file, though.
