Real Operations V4- Overview

I'd like to share my opinion on the real operations event that was hosted today. I wasn't there the whole time, but I was there enough(1 hour) to be able to review it.

 

I decided to go the route from Los Angeles through El Centro. I was excited, and couldn't wait for what kind of events they had planned.

I was extremely disappointed when I went through the whole route without a SINGLE event. The only thing exciting I saw were other truckers and some tumbleweeds. Where were the "realistic events" that were supposed to happen on every route?

I was frustrated when I arrived back in Los Angeles without seeing any event. I can't believe that I wasted my time, driving on roads seeing virtually nothing when I was promised realistic events.

Maybe this was fixed after I left, I dont know.

Needless to say, I wont be attending these events anymore.

Hello @RebeccaMurdock, admins came there later. More events was on north, at Barstow..

tbh they should focus on one main route that goes through multiple cities to pick people up

 

instead of 1 city of like a million different routes where people have to work out which one will benefit them the most

The team was pretty stretched out with this event,  up further north. There was a small event near San Diego.

I drove:

Las Vegas to Los Angeles
Los Angeles to El Centro
Los Angeles to Las Vegas

I saw: 1 event

Pretty pathethic guys... 
I made sure I followed the correct roads. You also didn't give any "order" for taking the routes, you made it out as if I could drive any route and get great events, but I drove nearly all routes and I saw nothing!!

I only saw 2 events and an escort - Which, compared to previous, is quite poor.

Personally, I don't feel that the event lived up to the potential that its previous runs had set. Ultimately, I feel this to be the fault of a lack of events in given areas and multiple routes.

 

Alas, it was nice to drive in American Truck Simulator with other players (for once).

The same story was in ETS2 guys, few road blocks and then you drive 500km seeing nothing, this is how Real OP events works, i personally don't like it, the latest "Heavy Haul" convoy was way more fun.

It shouldn't work that way, then. It doesn't make sense to have a route with nothing in it for the first hour or so.

I think, if you write an feedback as @Matt #CarLadMatt already wrote. And I look forward that the next event will be better. Further I think that TruckersMP has made a real effort anyway. Thank you!

Yeah its boring just to drive forward and you see nothing, that's how ''Real Operations'' shouldn't work.
