Good afternoon, as you know Truckers MP has updated the speed limitation to 150Km / H and I agree with it because it reduces accidents and it is like a real life simulation because there are no trucks on the road to walk more than 120Km / H and more than 150Km / H is rare. All the roads have a speed limit and this must be respected by all but being the Euro Truck Simulator 2 a simulator means that and to simulate something and on the roads we do not see trucks driving with speeds above 120Km / H because it is a danger for all but also end up breaking the road code and the possibility of getting fines. In terms of cars, these are often above average speeds of 150Km / H but it could also be a suggestion to increase this limiter for cars and keep the trucks at their current value, but it is a disadvantage because it is not everyone who takes this game as a simulation and many of the accidents that happen in the game are for speeding by the cars.
In short, I think Truckers MP has made the right decision for both sides because the current value of the limiter is perfect for anyone driving a truck or car.

The idea behind my suggestion is to have a server where "everything" is possible but the people using this one are to blame themselves when they're using it and someone crashes into them. Why would it be so difficult to manage having a server like this (where even no police is looking for). The thing is that you don't have to use eu2 if you're not a racer like the most eu2-users - if you  don't like it you easily could use the eu3 server.

I understand your idea, but it does not seem to consider the fact that all users are free to choose the server they want to use.
So if a player that strictly follows all traffic rules decides to use the EU#2 server, he is perfectly entitled to do so.

It would very much surprise me that it would be him to blame if another player, that is not capable of controlling his vehicle at excessive speeds, crashes into him.
As a matter of fact, driving at reasonable speeds is not a rule violation. Depending on the situation, driving at excessive speeds however can be regarded as reckless driving, which is a rule violation.

Mutual consideration and respect are key in road traffic.
And that stays true independent of a vehicles speed or drivers skills.

Drive safely!

I will point out that there is a server that most people can due almost "everything" and that is EU4.

The thing here is that if they wanna speed up like bastards but collision is disabled, then they will have none of it. Some users just enjoy this chaos consisting of accidents and traffic jams

people who complain that they don't like the idea of removing the speed limiter from EU4, want the ability to get banned for reckless driving, trolling or both.

The problem, inherently, is that there's two very different types of players trying to enjoy multiplayer. First are the people who want a simulation experience and obey traffic rules such as red lights, speed limits, etc. The other group are those who want to see just how fast they can go and how far they can push their vehicles before losing control. To a small degree there's a third group, the trolls, who just want to cause havoc. But they are truly a minority and not to be confused with the other two groups.

EU1, the Simulation server, has a 90 KM/H speed limit and no cars. Well, cars happen to be a part of real life so eliminating them from the game does not provide the type of simulated experience most players from group 1 wish to have. They expect for there to be cars and expect to be overtaken by them, just like in real life. If the cars are also limited to 90 KM/H, then that completely negates the point for them.

EU3 also has cars disabled, even though it doesn't have the 90 KM/H speed limit. Once again, those wishing to experience a more true to life simulation are not going to get what they want from this server. This server would be best for the 2nd group of players, those who wish to push their trucks as fast as they can. But again, without cars to interact with and deal with, the appeal is lost to the majority of these players.

EU4 has no collisions, which are also a part of real life. So again, this server will not provide the kind of simulated experience that most players are looking for.

This leaves us with EU2, which is the best compromise for both groups of players.

So what's the solution? Perhaps there isn't one. Perhaps EU3 should have cars enabled and no speed limits, while EU2 should have a 100 KM/H speed limit only on the trucks. Such a combination of servers would push those who wish to go fast and reckless towards EU3 and the first group towards EU2. Or perhaps cars could be added to EU1 and EU3 could be left alone. The only way to know which solution works best for all players is to try different things and observe the results. That's precisely what the admins are doing by adding global speed limits in the first place. They are providing servers with different limitations to help give the players the experience they desire in multiplayer.

It just happens most people prefer the chaos of EU2 over the other options.
