How do you Look around and use Mirrors?

I'm using a virtual mirror and a real mirror.I always keep the virtual mirror open because there are people coming from the right on the crowded roads when I use the real mirror on the non-crowded roads.But I always use my left mirror real.

As I use right-hand drive, I use my real right mirror but I use the F2 Virtual Mirror on my left.

@SuperMouse I use the F2 overlay as my seat if quite far forward in my cab as it allows for me to have a better view out the front of the truck.  

 

The F2 overlay is also useful for recording as you can see what side of the road you were on and them overtaking/ramming you to the side.

I open the right mirror. Because I can see the left side of the truck. In some cases I use both mirrors.

I generally use the f2 key to keep the one mirror up and use the mouse for junctions but I’m really wanting to get into trackir or a VR headset

I use my mouse and sometimes my keypad when I'm driving because it's a little easier for me if I'm honest.

I use my in-game mirrors (not f2) but i feel like we're not a lot using them here :')

I use F2 for the right mirror because I don't have equipment like TrackIR, and I use my mousewheel's buttons for signals. 

When I drive with my gamepad the situation changes.

I use the same setting. Right mirror from "F2" and wheel buttons for "Look left" and "Look right"

When i'm overtaking, I tend to use F2, and make sure its clear.

I use the pads on the back of my G27 to look to the left and right so that I can see the mirrors properly. I don't like the UI mirrors.

I can see the left mirror easy enough and I just zoom into the right mirror, I have my right mouse for zoom

I control the two mirrors constantly. This is the case in real life.Safety is a must.

So I use left-hand drive even thought I come from the UK, because I'm mainly in anywhere but the UK while driving in ETS2, but I just use the 1 virtual mirror (f2) and then use the mouse to look left and right when I need to

I adjust the inside position of the 1 view and then watch the 2 mirrors of the 1 view to drive the truck

I have one virtual mirror and then the mirror on the driver side of the truck, I use that.

I find that if I use both virtual mirrors, then I find that it blocks the view that I use to drive around.

I use no HUD mirrors, i always see the left mirror as i use left-hand drive and i move my mouse to right if i want to see the other mirror. I would love to get TrackIR but the reason i keep HUD mirrors off is

1. Quality

2. They get in the way

3. They use a lot of FPS compared to having them off.

Generally I use the numpad 6 to look into my right mirror as the left mirror is always in view. Don't have the HUD enabled, I like to keep it nice and clean using in cab GPS, speed monitoring ect.

To be honest I do not look around my cabin at all, I only use 1 mirror and that is on the outside of my truck cab. I dont even use the trucknav window as to me the screen feels cluttered when this is on. I just keep a constant eye on the gps unit on the dashboard for other players.
