ETS2 MP crush on start

Hey,

 

I have installed MP few days ago.

ATS is running normally, but in ETS2 I can log in, manage company, choose jobs etc. but when I clik "ride" button I can see my car interior for a while and then suddenly bang! - black screen and game is closing.

Hey there,

 

Please read and try this solution:

1-) Start a command line as an administrator (cmd)
2-) Run the command: sfc /scannow
3-) Wait, and then restart your computer
4-) Run a single game in x64 DirectX mode (Launch witch DirectX for ATS or ETS2)
5-) Drive a short distance
6-) Exit Game
7-) Start multiplayer

Have you renewed Euro Truck Simulator installation?

Do you use Euro Truck Simulator standard settings?

Hello. Welcome to TMP forum  

Follow these guides:

Solution 1

> Go to Steam Library

> Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2

> Properties

> Local Files

> Verify Integrity of Game Files

Wait until the game files are verified and try whether the error still occurs.

 

Solution 2

You should start TruckersMP as admin. This is really important.

Also try to start TruckersMP with DirectX (64)

Guide:

> Go to your steam App
> Go to library
> Go to ETS 2 / ATS
> Click "Play" 
> Choose "Launch with DirectX (64-bit). Make sure you chose 64 bit.
> Start ETS 2
> Choose your profile and press "drive"
> Close ETS 2
> Start TruckersMP as admin. TruckersMP will start with DirectX for all time. Except you change it again.

Also try to reinstall TruckersMP.

Go to '%programdata%' and delete the folder 'TruckersMP'. After that uninstall TruckersMP and download the MOD again. https://truckersmp.com/download -> Launch the installer as admin

 

Solution 3

> Update your graphic card driver.

> Take care not to play in busy areas.

> Pull down your graphics settings.

> You maybe need a new profile,delete old and get a new one.

> Reinstall the mod and make sure that you put correct in directory. (\Steam\SteamApps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2)

> Don't use unsupported mods.Also too many mods can cause your game to crash.You can find supported and allowed mod from here.

> Delete file Documents/ETSMP (Please before deleting,backup this file)

> That's may be caused by missing game file.Go to Steam Library / Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2 / Properties / Local Files / Verify Integrity of Game Files.

> Make sure you have the latest .Net Framework (4.7) & DirectX & Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 and use CCleaner to remove temporary files and obsolete registry paths.

> If it didn't work,don't hesitate send support ticket. https://support.truckersmp.com/

Do u get any messege after the game crash, if yes please provvide a screenshot of it!

Do you use a controller or a steering wheel? If you do, please remove them and then go into Device Manager and uninstall the drivers for the controller/wheel. Try loading up the game again.

@J0RGE Can you provide a paste bin of the game.log.txt file? I would also recommend to try and see if it will crash on a new profile. You have the same code of access violation than my last crash, which I think had to do with the game failing to load something.

Now I am one step further. Kien Giang nr 2 and Asatelon solutions were accurate (big beer for you).

 

I can ride, but I can't see any jobs via my company - when I click the city on map, job list on the right is empty.

Jobs are visible when I come to the loading site (jobs from this site).

Is it some how related to "ghost mode"? What is ghost mode? I saw this blinking on the screen after first successful "ride" button  pressing
