I cant go faster that 65mph

I cant go faster that 65 mph and it has goes 70 easy but now it wont go past 65. it almost like its on cruise control because once it hits 65 the engine slows down like cruise control. so its not struggling to get past 65 it just wont let me

Try disabling the speed limiter in the Gameplay Settings (Keep in mind that if you're playing on the server Europe #1, there's a speedlimiter).

Hey there, @TheBridy; 

 

You need to do both of the following:

1-) Disable the speed limiter in your ETS2/ATS settings (Book Here)
2-) Disable the speed limiter in the TruckersMP tab menu (Book Here)
3-) You could join a server that has the speed limiter disabled completely after doing steps 1 & 2. (Optional)
4-) Steps 1 & 2 on a server with a speed limiter enabled it will limit you to 110kmh/68mph
5-) Any speed on External Contracts cannot go more than 90 km/h. 
* To go more than 90 km/h have to remove the limiter and taking those not speed game on External Contracts.

@TheBridy if you are doing a world of trucks load the speed limiter will be on automatically and can´t be turned off while you have the load active

There are three things that I can think of that may help you:

1. In TruckerMP (in-game) go to > Tab Menu > Settings > Un-tick the box "Speed limiter" 
2. Go to > ETS 2 Settings > Game Play > Un-tick the box "Speed Limiter"
3. If you are on an external contract it will automatically limit your speed with no bypass.
