Euro truck simulator 2 is not working

Parelem

Question

I have a problem running euro truck simulator 2 with TruckersMP. I got both of the games ATS and ETS2.

For some reason, I can only play the ATS because ETS2 requires an update which whenever I'm trying to install nothing happens.

Here is the picture of the problem:

https://imgur.com/a/vshVg   could not upload here because the size was too big.

By the way my ETS2 version is 1.30.2.6s (64bit)

Things I have tried to fix the problem:

1. Running TruckersMp as administrator.

2. While in TruckersMP pressing F1 to reinstall all the mods.

3. Reinstalling the TruckersMP launcher.

4. Reinstalling the game.

Nothing from this worked for me.

The mods that I have are:

Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Scandinavia

Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Going East!

Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Mighty Griffin Tuning Pack

Euro Truck Simulator 2 - High Power Cargo Pack

Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Cabin Accessories

Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Wheel Tuning Pack

Euro Truck Simulator 2 - National Window Flags

By the way all this mods worked before on older TruckersMp versions.

I hope there is a fix for this problem.

Hai,

so you click on install available Updates and the button keeps coming back asking you to install the Update over and over? If so just download any VPN (i recommend Ultrasurf) and install the Update again.

Download Ultrasurf

Run Ultrasurf.

Open TruckersMP in Administrator Mode.

Install the available updates (only the first run with Ultrasurf), wait for it to finish and Launch button appears.

Exit Ultrasurf.

Thats it.

kind regards

Dear @Parelem;

  • Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
  • Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
  • Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
  • Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
  • Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/
  • Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates"

&

  • In order to verify your game cache, go to your 'Library' and find 'Euro Truck Simulator 2'.
  • Once you find it, 'Right Click' and go to the 'Properties ' tab.
  • This will open up the properties tab. Go to the third sub-tab that says 'Local Files' where you will be presented with the following options.
  • Click on the last option to begin the validation process. This might take a few minutes.
  • Once all the files are validated, if any corrupt instances are found, then Steam will redownload those particular files for you. If not you will be greeted with a box that says no errors.
  • You have verified your game cache successfully.

.Net Framework (4.7) - DirectX  - Microsoft Visual C++ 2015.
