Game says i'm offline.

Hi,

 

i wanted to start playing the game again after like a month, and i wanted to go online, the start up is perfect and when i go into a server it says "OFFLINE" in the top right corner eventhough the servers are online... the dlc's i have are all supported and it's the right version of the game, my internet works fine too... i dont know what this could be.. please help

Greetings @Razorev i think this is a connection issue with your internet so i recommend to check with your internet provider if there is some fault either on there side or on your side

And there is no red notification in the chat? Normally there has to be. Did you start the game as an admin and did you also start Steam in the background?

@Razorev First of all, please right-click your TMP-launcher -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Tick the box next to 'Run this program as administrator'. Then please ensure that neither your antivirus software nor Windows Firewall are blocking TMP and try to start TMP again.

Can you open the game chat (Press Y key) and take a screenshot of the game chat or reply back in this thread with whatever the chat says? This should show any error messages and/or how far into connecting you got, this would be helpful.

You can try open port's on your router

According to the api (http://api.ets2mp.com/servers/) are 42860, 42880 and 42890

i have the launch as admin box on and in the chat when i join the game it says; Connecting to server 2 but it never says connected or disconnected and i have open ports... this is the only game that has the problem... and before this i could play just fine..

@Razorev Have you already checked if TMP is in the list of allowed programs in your Windows Firewall? And please also make sure that your antivirus software isn't blocking TMP neither.
