Voice Chat

Hello!

 

My voice chat is not working. I cannot hear other people but others can hear me. The voice chat radio has been turned on in the truck and I'm always on the channel on others are but I can't hear others. Someone please help!

Hey buddy.

When you are in game go into the settings after pressing TAB button and in there you find the sound settings make sure your input and output is connected to whichever device you use to listen and talk through i.e if it is TB headset make sure it is there and apply it and then press apply. Hope this helps you.

Are you sure your microphone volume is turned on in multiplayer settings? Also are you using any Razer program for your audio? If yes, close them and run the game after. Also, check the microphone mute switch on the headset (if applicable). Simply set it to the opposite state. Consider checking the microphone volume in the system itself. It might be muted in there as well.

Steam > Settings > Contact > Sound Recorder make sure that the correct device is selected here.

Or reset the in-game settings.

make sure you have Voice volume set to max in the Settings. If it doesn't work simply reinstall your sound driver.

I would also suggest making sure that you have the Microphone plugged in before you launch TruckersMP, check your system settings as well just to make sure that you have enabled the microphone and that it is set to current use, Check that the audio Output is going to your Microphone and that the Settings in-game relate to your microphone that you are using.
