Game Moderator Recruitment

Dear players,

 

Welcome to the second public recruitment session for Game Moderators (In-Game Admins). As we are now in the final stages of processing the remaining applications from the last recruitment session, we are now reopening it to process more applications! If you already have an application in the waiting list, there is no need to submit another application.

 

There are lots of requirements that you should meet as well as a process you must go through before reaching your Trial rank.

 

Requirements:

• Be a TruckersMP player for at least 1 year.
• You must be atleast 17 Years of age.
• You must have a good level of English skills. For this reason, you must answer the application form using the English language.
• You must have an active forum account. 50+ Forum posts with good recent activity.
• You must have no bans or forum punishments in the past year. Preferably no bans at all.
• You must have good behaviour In-game, on the forums and discord.
• Can work as a team, even if you don't agree with another member.
• Previous Moderation experience with examples.
• Must be able to remain Calm and Polite.
• Resilient, active and flexible.
• Can reach the activity requirements.

 

IMPORTANT: If you applied previously and got rejected, please make sure you fixed what was mentioned to you in your rejection note BEFORE attempting to reapply.

 

The Process:

1. Chat time with a Game Manager and Team Leaders
   1. You will have a chat with a Game Manager. This will include about you, what you do in your spare time, about your previous experience etc.
   2. This would give the GMM time to decide if the applicant's English is good enough.
   3. Start to Gauge what sort of person the applicant is.
   4. Some scenario work with the applicant.
2. Training & Observation
   1. Each applicant must go through a training period with GMTL to teach the basics of how to deal with reports and appeals. Learn best practises and how to anticipate on posted content. Learn how to judge and how to apply a suitable a punishment if needed.
   2. An observation period of around 2 weeks happens a long with the training. This gives time for the applicant to see how appeals, reports and bans are dealt with without the stress of taking action. This is a measure introduced to help keep the quality up.
3. Review with a Game Manager
   1. Find out about any issues they had with training and iron those out.
   2. Answer any questions.
   3. Give result on whether they can go on to be Trial.
4. Trial Game Moderator.
   1. After going through the training, the applicant will now be a Trial Game Moderator for up to 2 months.

 

Other notes:

• The system will not allow you to apply if you have any bans in the past 365 days
• You can only send in 1 application in this recruitment period
• Meeting these requirements doesn't guarentee getting recruited. There are intentionally hidden requirements too.
• The process to moving onto Full Game Moderator will be explained once you are a part of the team.
•  If you are put on a "Waiting list" it means we have looked at your app and are looking into you further. This doesn't mean you will/are accepted.
