Random FPS Lag Spikes

TruckerZach

Question

I do not have this issue in SP, but while in MP I have random lag spikes every 10 seconds or so. My FPS will drop 20-30 frames for just a second and return to normal. We have tried to uninstall truckers MP and when reinstalled had the same issue. We downgraded the graphics of the game, and still the FPS issues are still there. Any other suggestions to why my FPS is doing this? It makes playing MP with my buddies terrible.

I’ve given this tip to many people (Inc. an admin at one point) and it seems to have helped in busy areas- You could try and lower your development logging options in the MP settings:

Press tab> Right click> Click the cog icon> In the general tab click the drop down menu at development logging and lower the option or turn it off

(Note that if your turn it off completely you won’t be able to find IDs for reports, you should use /pinfo command or search on the website for their username)

Hello,

Firstly; computer age, cleaning and internal cooling of your computer is important for FPS.

Also, MultiPlayer is a game that is developing every day, so the system features should be smooth and functional.

I would also recommend you to apply them as well:

and see this topic.

Thanks, good games..

Best regards..
