No Audio Through Headphones

Features_Gaming

Question

Can anyone help?

I play TruckersMP a lot, and record it too, but I am trying to record a video now, on this date, but can't get the audio to come through my headphones.

I have tries other games to see if is a problem with my headphones and it isn't, other games work fine, it is just TruckersMP and normal ETS2 where the audio isn't coming through my headphones!

I have tried many things, and still haven't solved anything, if you know how to solve it, please let me know!

Hello,

When you have opened the game, minimize it. Right click on the sound icon down in the tray and press 'Sound Mixer', check if ETS2 hasn't been muted. Make sure that you have NOT lowered your audio via the in-game settings. Last but not least, check if your headphones are the default playback device.

Regards,

Martin.

If you're using Windows 10, you can switch default audio device by selecting the speaker icon in the tray, followed by using the list, which is located above the volume slider. Also, make sure that you have connected the headset physically to the audio jack, and make sure that the headset jack isn't muted. On certain Logitech keyboards with DAC sound card, such as G510/G510s there are 2 keys, which can disable headphone jack and microphone input. In that case, make sure that none of the keys have red indicator lit, if you happen to use its DAC with your headset. Be aware that if you change the default sound device while you play ETS2, the game will become silent until you restart it.

If you want to ask anywhere on forums whenever 32-bit version of MP will be supported in future, try to start GTA V on your 32-bit machine before checking game's system requirements.

Dear @Features_Gaming, since you wrote that you are trying to record a video: Is the audio missing only in the videos you tried to record, or in the game itself as well? If it is the first, you may try and look if your recording software got the option to record in-game sounds disabled...
