Addendum to 'overtaking/being overtaken guidelines'

After doing some 2600km rides I noticed everyone is adhering to the current overtaking guidelines rather strictly.

When overtaking someone everyone tends to be glued to their lane to an extreme as well as driving as far left as possible on their lane as well even though there's room for (almost) another truck on their right.

This becomes hairy in certain situations like the frequent curves that are in almost all of the highways.

Then collisions happen and people get mad even though they had plenty of space on the right to give the person overtaking just that extra foot of space they needed. (mostly due to how sensitive/precise someone's controls are)

So:

'Give a bit of space by moving to the right when able'

 

2 extras:

'Don't overtake in bends on narrow blocked in roads if you can avoid it'

'Don't overtake just before sharp turns/uphill on 2 way roads' <-that leads to rather collisions often I noticed, even though the actual traffic laws and road signage clearly state to not overtake in those areas, but nobody looks at those.
